My 16 year old daughter had a ********************* 6/13/24-and was given a ******. The diagnosis code was incorrect on the claim when submitted, so it was denied by my insurance. I received a threatening call for collections from ********** in September. I had never received a bill. Called 10 times and finally reached someone. Was told my address was incorrect and i would be sent a copy of the invoice. To date, 10/26 I have not received any invoice. I have called at least 20 times, left 3 messages and never a return call. Finally, i called today and was sent an email of the invoice. I have contacted my daughters provider to have the diagnosis code updated to get the claim paid. The customer service here is non existent and how can you threaten with collections when i have never even received a copy of the bill!

********** called me instead of sending a bill for a wrist brace I received through urgent care for an injury. I informed them that I was not the responsible party for medical devices, and that they should be contacting Mass General *******, not me. They never sent a paper bill, and they are trying to scam money for an item that is covered 100% by my insurance. I would like no further phone calls and for all bills to be removed or to be submitted to Mass General *******, as I have already paid for my urgent care visit, including all medical devices.

In my intitial meeting for orthotics with *****, I expressed concern about getting orthotics that would work and he said he hasn't "failed yet". He asked me if I had any pain. (No). I paid and he ordered custom orthotics. They were uncomfortable, he asked pain? No. I came back several times for him to make adjustments until the orthotics themselves starting causing pain. Then he remade the orthotics. I would point to my arch where the pain was. The next time I told him it felt like the muscle in that spot was tight. The next time I told him it was constant. I was never able to wear the orthotics for long. The last visit, I wore them out of the office and removed them to drive home, it was so bad. At that visit, he said it was the fascia muscle which concerned me as the pain had become permanent. I contacted ***** about refunding my money because I was now in constant pain from the orthotics. He said that I had pain when I first visited him and I reminded him of the many times he asked and I responded that there was no pain, until the orthotics started causing me pain. He said, concerning the fact that I initially had no pain, "well, sometimes the best thing is if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Would have been great if he had said that to me on my first visit instead of telling me he never failed. He said he would have to check with corporate about refunding my money. I followed up with a reminder message a couple of months ago. I have not heard back. I would like a full refund.

My orthopedic surgeons office had ********** contact me prior to hip surgery to arrange for me to use a continuous passive motion (CPM) machine. In the process of arranging it with **********, I asked multiple times (verbally) how much this would cost. I asked this to two different ********** employees. They told me $44.05, multiple times. ********** has now sent me an additional bill for $96.80. When I asked about it, they quoted fine print from their agreement saying, remainder of CPM coinsurance to be collected at time of pick-up. This was the first I heard of this additional charge, despite me asking verbally multiple times prior to delivery how much this would cost. They have now also threatened me with a collections agency, despite the fact that I only got the bill this week. I think I got scammed.

I had my custom made orthotics done with ************** at ********************************. I purchased the custome made orthotics on January 2023 and they came Early February 2023. The orthotics were for $400. Since day one, my feet started to hurt more and I started to get pain and red spots all over my feet. They hurt my feet and ankle and made everything worse since the they didn't work from day one. I went many times back and forth to ************** for adjustment and still no result. I don't think they gave me the correct inserts for my feet. I am in so much pain. Now, every time I ask them to either replace them orthotics or refund me, I am not getting any results.

This place is a scam. They charged my insurance $112 for a thumb splint, which I only noticed because of a deductible I had of $79. This same splint brand new is on Amazon for $19.99. They are charging health insurance crazy costs and it ends up raising my insurance rates., its because these splint and brace companies over-bill the insurance companies.
