During the installation of my half bathroom tile floor, you cut one of the 24x 24pieces of tile incorrectly, thus making it shorter and not in line with the rest of the installed tile flooring. This has caused an extremely noticeable gap of 24 x on the floor next to the baseboard that will necessitate the purchase of additional tile, having the incorrectly cut tile dug out, reset and regrouted. I discussed this with you that same day and you assured me once the baseboard was put back in place, the gap would not be visible. You also informed me that you had disposed of any leftover tile pieces/materials that day. I issued full payment to you in the amount of $600.00, check 1572 on 10/15/24, which you have cashed. When I attempted to put the baseboard back on 11/02/24, the incorrectly cut tile is still clearly visible and the baseboard does not cover it as you assured me that it would. This gap not only looks terrible, but cannot be left in its current state as irreparable damage could occur if water were to seep into that opening and get into the subflooring. I texted you on 11/03/24 and 11/05/24 and received no response. I called you several times on 11/04/24, 11/05/24 and 11/06/24 (which you did not answer), as well as left you a voicemail 11/04/24 asking you to please call me so we can discuss the steps to rectify this issue. To date, you have not returned my repeated calls and texts. I am unable to use my bathroom due to this issue and am unable to reinstall my toilet, the baseboard and sink/vanity (that were all removed prior to the 10/15/24 installation), until you take the steps to fix this incorrectly installed tile, as the floor needs to be addressed and fixed before these items can be installed on top of it. I would like this issue resolved ASAP.
