    Professional services for ***** ****** estate. Mr. ************************ office was contacted to execute my father's will on March 22, 2024. I met with Mr. ********************** in his office on April 4, 2024 to begin the process, which included receiving a letter from the court appointing me the Personal Representative. I met with Mr. ********************** on July 29th to obtain the final Estate documents, including a Letter of Authority for Personal Representative, and an *** number. Mr. ********************** incorrectly entered my father's name during the online creation of the *** number with the ************************. This mistake has prevented me from opening an estate account at the bank. As a result, I am unable to deposit three checks totaling over a thousand dollars into an account.Additionally, I have three stocks that need to be cashed out, and all three documents require the *** number. Furthermore, I need to file my father's taxes for *******. ********************** wrote a letter to the *** asking for the name to be corrected the first week of August.I contacted the *** on Monday, September 18th, and they confirmed that the name associated with the *** created by Mr. ********************** is still incorrect. The *** representative suggested that I confirm whether Mr. ********************** sent the letter to correct the error to the correct address:************************ ********************************************************************************************************************* I paid Mr. ********************** $3,565.00 for professional services regarding my father's estate. Due to the error, I am unable to close out his estate, and I believe I should receive compensation for this inconvenience. I am uncertain when the *** will update the name associated with the *** Mr. ********************** created in error. Additionally, I noticed a charge on the bill for the preparation of a letter regarding my father's 2015 ****** which we decided not to pursue.I emailed Mr. ********************** on September 18, 2024, and have not received a response.

    Better Business Bureau:

    Mr. Whitney called me on October 3rd because he didn't see the email I sent; it probably went to spam. He looked up online where to send the letter for the name change, but it was a different address than the one the *** provided. He asked me to come to the office to sign the letter requesting the name change, and he would mail it to the correct address. He apologized but wouldn't reimburse me for the error. Regarding the charge for the letter for the ***** that wasn't written, he said he would review the invoice and update it as needed. I went to the office on Friday, October 4th to sign the letter to be resent to the ***, and he reimbursed me $100 for the letter that wasn't written. 

    I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that this response will have to satisfy my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint #********.
