The truck information is under *************************** from Athol, MA. The paper work the shop has is under my name, ***************************. Took place on 8/24/2023. I have a power steering Leak in my 05 ***** Silverado. I paid Brooks auto to diagnose where the leak was coming from. Either the power steering pump, the lines or the steering box. They said the pump and the lines were the problem. They told me it would be about $1100 to fix it. I told them okay and they fixed it. Although after driving it home the problem was not fixed and there were other problems that were not a problem before they did the work on it. I drove to the shop to see what they could do for me. They took the vehicle in to look at it but came back and told me the other problem was pre-existing and the power steering box was what is leaking. They told me before the only thing that wasnt leaking was the power steering box. So I paid them $1132.99 to fix a problem that ended up not being fixed and they caused more damage to the truck leaving it to need even more work than what I bought it in for. The Owner ignored me and didnt want to help at all. Denied that the work they did was the problem. My goal in this is to get the money back for the labor since the parts are already installed in the truck and I need them no matter what. But now I need to figure out someone else to fix the leaking pump and lines that they replaced but refuse to fix their work because they say its not the problem. I paid them to fix the problem they diagnosed but it is not fixed. It is actually worse and other parts on my truck need to be replaced that didnt need to be replaced before they did the work.
