    Brought my jeep wrangler in to Riverside car care to diagnose a possible problem on 02/06/2023. Paid a $125 diagnostic fee and chose not to do their suggested repairs.My first and most important issue is that parts were stolen off of my vehicle while in their possession. Without jumping to conclusions, I called their office to see if maybe the parts were removed for inspection and forgot to put back on. The woman answering the phone told me there's no way their mechanic would've removed said parts. Without investigating the situation first, she put the issue back on me saying I should search more for the missing parts.My next complaint is that I was never informed nor agreed to a $125 diagnostic fee prior to execution of the service I was provided with. I will gladly pay the cost for services received, however I was never given a total or estimate up front.My last complaint is that I received an estimate for work that I never asked for. I asked for a diagnosis on an issue and they did not diagnose the issue. They instead wrote me an inflated estimate on many other repairs that were not necessary. I would like the parts taken from my vehicle replaced and mailed to my address. I would also like a refund for the diagnosis they did not perform to my vehicle.

    We have reviewed the complaint. Please note that this complaint is absolutely absurd. We are a very well respected family owned repair shop. 

    We have signs posted in our office and always inform all our customer of a Diagnostic fee. We also let them know that if repairs are complete that time that the  diagnostic fee will be waved.
      
    Initial complaint was to  check the clutch and to check over vehicle we road tested vehicle put it on lift inspected it found that clutch was releasing high (coming up on clutch soon)  found other issues that were not pressing at this time.
    gave him a quote for 
    front brakes, 
    emergency brake shoes (not holding)
    front end steering has play and upper and lower ball joint also had play. 
    rear axle seals leaking gear oil
    Lt front axle seal leaking 

    We informed the customer that these issues were more pressing than the cluch at this time, customer said that he was not going to repair vehicle but sell it. 

    Customer did call us asking if we removed the bolt on the hard top, we had no reason to touch the hard top or even look at it.
