On April 13th at 12:50 PM I entered the pawn shop as a new customer I was curious to see what they had in there. They had $2 bills listed for sale for $4 clearly marked. I asked if any of them had a star note to them which would make them worth more money could I take a look at them. The guy refused to Let me look at them because he didn't know that a star note was worth more money worth more money and refuse to sell me one if there was 1 in there he did not give me the option to even look and kicked me out of the store immediately. That is a very bad business choice. I can go to the bank to buy a 2 dollar bill for 2 dollars. They were charging 4 for a 2 dollar bill so the gem I found they refused service to me and would not uphold there price. I am a entrepreneur myself and would never refuse business to a customer for my mistake. Customer is always correct. I would be asking for compensation for my lose of money I would have earned as well as gas and milage. I will be consulting a civil lawsuit as well. How can u have a A+ rating doing buissness like that.

    Business response

    05/01/2022

Business Response /* (1000, 5, 2022/04/18) */ The customer entered our small family business on the date mentioned. He was observed going around the store taking pictures and consulting his phone several times. It is assumed he was comparing prices on other web sites. He asked if we had any $2 bills for sale. We indicated "yes". He asked if there were any with a star marking on them. He was told we were unsure. The gentlemen was informed if we did, we will not be selling today.(As a fellow entrepreneur, I'm sure he can understand that a small business has the right to investigate merchandise and protect their profit margins in this economy, while at the same time being able to maintain savings we can then pass on to our valued customers). At that time the customer became belligerent. The customer was not given the opportunity to exam the $2 bills we have for sale. Therefore it is not possible he knew if we did or did not have a $2 bill with a star marking. The customer escalated his behavior to the point he was becoming a nuisance and possible safety issue. He was told to leave the store and not to return. We can not give compensation on an item that was never purchased and that we do not have. We are sorry the customer left our establishment with a bad experience and wish him well on his future business endeavours.
