    I wet to have a gold bracelet fixed that was coming apart. They fixed the bracelet and charged me $30. But they did not bind the gold together good and it is coming apart. So when I went back to tell them the guy accused me of lying and told me it was not coming from what they fixed. But it is coming from the same spot that was suppose to be bonded together good. The guy told me they would fix it but charge me another $30. I told them no I am not paying again because the first repair job was not done right. But they refused to do it. I asked to speak to the manager but bc I was upset about the other guy accusing me of lying, I became upset. He told me since I want to get upset that I couldn't speak to anyone for anything to be fixed. I had to pay to full amount.

    Business Response /* (1000, 14, 2022/06/24) */ Ms. ****** had a bracelet repaired, which was soldered in accordance with industry standards by our master jeweler. Subsequently, the bracelet broke in a spot about an inch away from the original spot. The customer brought the bracelet back in and an employee explained that the new break was in a different spot and showed her clearly where the original break was, where the repair was, and where the new break was. The employee then explained that we would be happy to fix the bracelet, but that she would have to pay another $30 for repairing the new break, since it had absolutely nothing to do with the previous repair. At this, the customer became extremely upset, and wouldn't let the employee get in more than a few words at a time. The employee continued to calmly reiterate why the job would be $30. Shortly thereafter, the customer began to call the employee racist names. As a policy, Greenmount Loan & Jewelry Co does not tolerate racism in any form, and the employee asked the customer to leave. We would be happy to fix the Ms. ******' bracelet for the $30, with the understanding that we won't tolerate racism, and that any further racial slurs will result in us asking her to leave again.
