    I scheduled an appointment for a hair service on 5/10/2023 at 11:30am with Apryl *********** through *********.com. I paid a $178 deposit (half of the hair service total) via ******* to secure my appointment on 5/1/2023 at 11:35AM due to the stylist's policy on *********.com. When it became apparent that she had double booked me by changing my appointment time twice, I contacted her on 5/10/2023 at 8am via text message and kindly asked her to cancel my appointment and refund my $178 deposit via *******. She replied "I'll gladly refund that with no problem." Moments later after she canceled my appointment on *********.com, she stated, "Your $178 has been refunded." I checked my ******* and had yet to receive it. I notified her that I had not yet received the refund and I would confirm with a screenshot once I had received it. She did not reply to my text message. Hours later at 10:40am, I let her know that I still had yet to receive my refund and asked that she send it that same day by 3pm. I also stated that if I had not received my refund by 3pm, then I would assume she was going to keep the money and if that was the case, I would have to take action in recouping my money through my bank and also contact the BBB, leave a review on ********* regarding her poor professionalism, and get the authorities involved if needed. I tried to be patient and give it a day or two, but she did not reply to any of these text messages and I have yet to receive my refund which insinuates she has no intention on refunding my $178.

       The appointment was canceled for a reason. As busy as I am the refund slipped my mind I promise you that I definitely was not interested in stealing $178 from you. As you saw my 5.0 rating and many outstanding reviews I don’t do bad business AT ALL. Instead of you doing the most you could have contacted me directly CALLED ME to remind me of that and your money would have been send immediately. It’s sad that you had to do all of this but shows the person you are. I’ve never had a complaint on my business and I’ve never had anyone act as such. Communication is key my love and all you had to do was call me. Stealing money i’d never especially when it falls on my behalf. Your $178 will be refunded actually let me give you $180 for the time you took out to report me??. Thank you!

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.  I finally received a refund from the business on June 14, 2023 at 10:54pm along with the message in the screenshot I provided. I find that this resolution is satisfactory.
