Absolutely horrible. Multiple visits after being bitten by ticks and yet they diagnose my anaphylactic episodes as cannabis hypermesis. Never tested for the tick borne illnesses that ended up being the cause of 5 years of sickness. Lost everything because of their poor treatment and lack of proper diagnostics. Was told it was in my head and that I needed to stop working. After diagnosis, doctor refused to see me after being checked in for a scheduled appointment. Then after an allergic fumes reaction, they called police instead of ambulance for help. Last response from patient advocates was to have my attorney contact their attorney. THIS IS NOT A LEGITIMATE ER. NO MEDICAL DOCTORS. HAVING HAD A VIOLENT ALLERGIC REACTION TO TWO BEE STINGS, UPON ARRIVAL MY HAND WAS SWOLLEN TWICE ITS SIZE MY SHOULDER TO ELBOW WAS SWOLLEN... THE UNPROFESSIONAL TRIAGE NURSE STATED SHE GETS STUNG AND IT WAS NO BIG DEAL. THERE WERE NO ER PHYSICIANS AVAILABLE.. I REQUESTED TO SEE A MD. THE DISHOVELLED NURSE PRACTICER NEVER LOOKED AT MY SWELLING .. HE HAD THE NURSE GIVE AN ORAL MEDICATION THAT DID NOT STOP THE ALLERGIC REACTION ... I INFORMED HIM THAT A HIGHER EFFICACY MED REQUIRING A SHOT WOULD BE NECESSARY, HE IGNORED ME AND ORDERED THREE PRESCRIPTIONS THAT HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH MY SEVERE MEDICAL NEED. I LEFT ATLANTIC GENERAL ER WHICH IS NOT A PART OF THE HOSPITAL I LATER LEARNED BY A CONTRACTED SUBSIDIARY OF SOME KIND... WENT TO BEEBE HOSPITAL IN DELAWARE AND WAS TREATED BY A PHYSICIAN WHO IMMEDICATELY ORDERED AN INJECTION . THIS ER SHOULD BE SHUT DOWN, ITS PRACTICES ARE NOT EVEN EQUIVILENT TO AN URGENT CARE. I CALLED SEVERAL URGENT CARE FACILITIES AND THEY TOLD ME THEY DID NOT TREAT BEE STINGS, THEY ADVISED ME TO GO TO AN ER. SUFFICE IT TO SAY ATLANTIC GENERAL ER IS JUST A NAME ONLY. A DISGRACE AND A BROKEN MEDICAL SYSTEM.Review from Terry L C

**** ** ******** ***** Those ******** at Atlantic General Hospital just dropped me as a patient from ALL of their practices. No explanation other than they didn't think they could provide me with an adequate relationship. I'm NOT TRYING TO DATE YOU PEOPLE. I'm TRYING NOT TO DIE. I have 9/11 Sickness. The Eastern Shore has a healthcare desert in case you were unaware. Because I advocate for myself and won't let an herbalist passing as an endocrinologist be my endo anymore?? Is that what this is about?? How about your practitioners leave their personal beliefs at the front door and actually practice medicine?? I will be writing up every single practitioner and their shoddy ways up on Yelp. Plus, you can expect the representative that serves this area will be hearing about this as well. I had been keeping A LOT of stuff to myself for the sake of peace. The gloves are now coming off. You USED to be the best thing in the area. What has happened to you in the last year or so I couldn't say! But you are now nothing more than ***** ****** 2.0
