Since December 2023, my Nissan Altima hasnt been the same. As of today, June 5, 2024, I no longer have my vehicle and lost out over $6,000 with misdiagnosis of my vehicle regarding transmission issue. I paid for new brakes, oil change, oil pan, etc. (nearly $1500) and my car broke down the next day and they told me it was a coincidence. My car was diagnosed with transmission failure and was told to pay $6800 or you have 48 hours to get the vehicle off Nissan of Bowies car lot. Plus, when I was waiting for my vehicle to be serviced ($1500 job), the shady car salesman told me I will see you soon. Overall, I was ripped off by Nissan of Bowie and they are sabotaging customers vehicle so they can forced them to buy other vehicle. I DONT TRUST THEM AND WILL VISIT THIS BUSINESS EVER AGAIN. Shady unethical business practices.

On May 29, 2023 I purchased a 2020 Jeep Cherokee. I was so excited about it because of the prior experience I had with my previous vehicle. Not even a whole 3 month later I was backing up into my driveway and my truck just started over heating. I had called the service department and spoke with Joe and he (Joe, in the service department)told me “ Take it to Jeep because they will know better than us.” So me listening to him(Joe, in the service department). I got it towed to Jeep. Ever since, I have been getting hit with bad news after bad news. All I want is to be able to get my truck back. However I can’t because over $20,000 worth of work has to be done. I don’t have that to get my truck fixed. When my husband and I went to Nissan to speak with a manager, The used car manger informed us that he will talk to his General Manager and get back to us. The used car manger called the next day and told us that their attorney told them to stay out of this situation because we took it to Jeep. I feel as though that is so unfair being as though a Nissan Service Advisor is the one that told me to take it to Jeep. As a customer I am dissatisfied with the experience I am getting from them. Also, as a customer this is unfair and not fair to me nor my family. I need my vehicle to be able to get to work and take my boys to school. How am I supposed to do these things when you guys sold me a car that is not in good working condition. My husband keeps being told that the general manager will get back to him, but my husband has yet to receive a response back from him. This is becoming really frustrating because I lost lack of transportation to getting to work and taking my children around. On top of that I am still responsible for paying the car note. I just want some answers! Also, I have reached out to corporate and I have not received any response back from them either.

I traded in a 2017 Nissan Rogue Sport and purchased a brand new 2021 Nissan Rogue SL AWD on 4/16/2022 at Nissan Bowie. On May 2, 2022, the car stopped and wouldn't start. I called my sales representative, who wasn't in the office and suggested that I contact the service department. I contact the service department, who advised me to jump the car and bring it in for a diagnostic on the vehicle. I repeated what she said because I couldn't believe my ears. I asked her why would I need to jump a brand new car! So that I could resolve the issue, I got a jump, and the dashboard and headlight error messages came across the screen. I videotaped the occurrence because I couldn't believe it. It was too late by the time I got the jump, so I had to wait until the next day. That next day it still didn't start. I had my sister drive me to Nissan to speak to the sales manager. I was agitated because I had just purchased this car, and now it won't start. It took 30 minutes for someone to assist us, and it wasn't until I asked for the Manager's business card that we were seen. Mr. Steven H****** said I shouldn't have jumped the car. He gave me the 800 number and told me this was a service that Nissan offered. He told me to give them a call. He was disinterested in what I had to say because his focus was on assisting his son with purchasing a vehicle. I immediately called Nissan Corporation after leaving the car lot. There was no offer of a loaner, no one offering to have it towed, or even sit down to discuss my concerns. I thought there was a mechanical issue, not a battery issue. My biggest problem is what if this happens again or if there is unforeseen problems down the road. Mr.H****** was both rude and unprofessional. The company needs to employ sensitivity and equity training for their employees. I thought they would have offered the extended warranty to ease my concerns. NOTHING-still waiting to hear from Corporate.
