RK's Bathtub and Tile Restoration refinished a bathroom tub in my home in March 2021. The tub looked great after it was initially refinished but it has been quite problematic and troublesome ever since. Ryan K*** has subsequently visited my home to take care of lifting/cracking/splitting paint at least three different times. And now I need a fourth repair of the same bathtub for the same lifting/cracking/splitting paint. For each visit, there is a return $$$ service charge. I'm nearing the point where I have paid almost as much for return service visits as I did to have the bathtub originally refinished. I am a careful person and I am the only one using the bathtub. The bathtub has been maintained *exactly* as outlined by RK's Bathtub and Tile Restoration. At this point, I've grown weary of all of the back-n-forth, the excuses, the smells after re-painting, and having to re-arrange my schedule to accommodate for the return service visits. At this time, the bathtub will need to be completely stripped (at my time & expense) and I will seek out another established and credible company to refinish my bathtub. UPDATE: The response from RK's Bathtub and Tile Restoration is predictable... they take absolutely no responsibility for their workmanship and want to point fingers at the customer. If you saw issues with my bathtub from the very beginning, why did you then proceed with doing the job anyways??? Next, I'm not the only one having issues with your bathtub reglazing work... there are people in other online forums who are also chiming-in about your low quality bathtub refinishes that are "cracking." And then RK's Bathtub and Tile Restoration goes as far as to advocate for removal of reviews and comments that state the truth about the poor quality and the inferior durability of the bathtub(s) that they've refinished... does that sound customer-focused and professional?!? It's quite obvious that RK's Bathtub and Tile Restoration does not stand behind their handiwork!
