I moved in my townhome at Harbor Estaes in September of 2023. I’ve made several complaints about my tub leaking and draining down to my dining area since October 2023. They finally came out in May of 2024 to replace my tub. A few days later came out and placed a new piece of sheet rock where the tub had been leaking. 3 days later the tub began to leak again only this time it has caused black mold. I have made SEVERAL complaints about the mold still being there and they have yet to come and remove the mold. I’ve had active black mold in my home since may 2024 and have been calling and speaking to everyone there and nothing has yet to be done. I’ve even reached out to their corporate and they are very evil and disrespectful to their residents. The lady that works at corporate has slammed the phone in my ear on many occasions. I’ve made several complaints about needing an exterminator due to outside bugs coming inside of my home and have yet to see an exterminator. Maintenance will close out work orders and the maintenance problems haven’t been fixed. I had an emergency on a couple of occasions such as sparks coming from the electrical sockets and water pouring from my ceiling and when maintenance was called no one came until the next day. So there is basically no emergency maintenance. This place will cause a person to become ill.

My husband and I moved in to this home June 14, 2023, before our move in date, we took a tour of the home, and there was a few issues with the home that we communicated with the leasing office, that this issues should be fixed before our move in date, when we moved in the issues WAS NOT FIXED, we had to call the leasing office for them to come and deal with the issues. It is now September 8th, 2023. And we have been having issues with this home ever since. We have called about ANTS, the AC not working, we have been sleeping in our living room due to the heat upstairs in our room. Also our refrigerator have been down for 2 weeks, we have had to throw away food twice due to t he refrigerator being down. We called maintenance, a guy came out, open the refrigerator and said it was to much food in the refrigerator and we had to move the food from in front the fan. He never tried to look to see what the issue was or nothing , so we moves and removed something area. And days later the refrigerator still isn't working, so we called again, a another guy comes our, he looks at the refrigerator, tells us its built up ice and it needs to melt. We did that, we come home from work, the refrigerator still isn't working so YET again we have to throw our food in the trash. We have wasted so much money on food. We have spent money on food. No-one wants to reimburse for loss food. Something need to be done. This is ridiculous. Also we are paying for a Pool that no longers work.

My move in day was 10/3/2022. When I went to sign the lease they give the place away that I put a holding fee on, on 09/19/2022. The lady was trying to get me into another place so she went into another office to talk to someone. Then a other lady came in and said to me sorry this happened but my uncle needed a place and he didn't like the bathroom in the other place. This is so unprofessional. Then they wanted to give me a other place but not the same price.

Business Response /* (1000, 16, 2022/10/26) */ Good Afternoon, The prospect was offered another home that was comparable to the home she originally applied for and was able to move in on a date that was convenient for her. I have spoken with the resident to ensure she was able to get another home and complete a successful move in.

Business Response /* (1000, 13, 2022/07/11) */ ****** ******** We have a policy that states any inoperable vehicle will be towed. Unfortunately we tow cars all the time with flats, outdated tags and such. I hope this clears things up. Rhonda Consumer Response /* (3000, 15, 2022/07/11) */ (The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.) I do not accept their response because my vehicle was not inoperable because I was still driving it while I was working on it the tags were not outdated now my tow yard bill is over 2000$ an I am unable to pay that amount to get my vehicle back Business Response /* (4000, 21, 2022/08/11) */ The policy that was shared with the resident was indeed the correct information. any vehicle that is inoperable are towed immediately without notice by the schedule of the towing company.
