25 YEAR WARRANTY? WHAT WARRANTY??? What a nightmare! My experience with Window Nation was awful. Back in 2017, for $30,000.00, they installed a new roof for me, a section of which was the flat roof over a large family room. One of the reasons I went with them was their promised "25 Year Warranty." Two years later, I had a piece of the crown molding replaced, thanks to moisture leaking in, and eventually, water cascading through the wall. Every two years since then, we've had a roof leakage related issue. First, a large print and some treasured family mementos got damaged as the moisture-soaked wall above my fireplace became moldy and finally gave way. Then, my handyman alerted me to the pools of water on the top of the flat section of my roof - there was no pitch at all, and so no drainage. Armed with my warranty, I called Window Nation. The owner of the Window Nation branch checked the flat roof and insisted that the work had been correctly done - so much for assuming responsibility and respecting the warranty!!! On the way out, he said, "You are a nasty person, and nasty things happen to nasty people." This totally shocked me, immediately numbing me. I honestly don't think veiled threats should be part of any interaction by a business. Moreover, in early 2024, I had several roofing companies inspect the flat roof - they all agreed that the roof had not been built correctly. In the end, and $ 9,200 later, I had the flat part of the roof replaced and the family room ceiling redone, the latter where workers discovered rotten insulation, creeping mold, and ruined drywall. So much for customer service, professionalism, and honoring the warranty!!!Review from Pam G

Window Nation starts off as a reputable business sending in their polished and educated representative to sell the product. They follow up with a crew that is using their own personal truck help that is obviously underage and a language barrier on top of that. Long story short the "inexperienced-looking" crew turned out to be inexperienced and installed all windows without installation which explained their falling apart just months later. This all began in October and currently I am patiently waiting for the third round of "improving" this situation. I'll keep you posted but I would be looking for another company most definitely.Review from Gary D

Not real happy! Window Nation installed windows at my home twice: 2022 and 2023. One of the windows came off it's track after an improper install (this window had not been opened since being installed). I called Window Nation after discovering the window problem. Now, Window Nation wants to charge $150 as a service fee to come to my home to "retrack" the window they installed improperly I thought this business was reputable and backed their product and install. I would suggest anyone that wants windows installed to avoid Window Nation. Because if something goes wrong the company will sock you for another $150 just to come back out and fix a window that was installed wrong.Review from Tom R

This is the worst experience I’ve ever had. DO NOT use this company. They bait and switch. The product is wildly inferior and causes more issues. I replaced every window in my house and have had nothing but issues. Please don’t make this mistake.Review from Cindy A

So disappointed, We had our windows put in Nov. i have reached out to the sale person Nick M. Nov !2th and he answered a couple times back, but stop answering me Dec. 16th. When we had our windows put in we noticed a cut in the kitchen window/ The installer said he was going to call and let them know about right away! NO WORD STILL. But of course they want their money. I just reach out to the office and of course again, they will call me back in 24/48 hours. I would never ever do business with them again.Review from Kamalapathy N

Window Nation acts like a sales company and not a producer. The window I purchased had a defect balancing. Within two years of purchase, the top window was sliding down which harmed my children's health. Now the same issue happened after six years and warranty expired. The service team did not even talk to me on my issue and they only sent me a payment link for the sevice fee of $150. I informed Vytex who is the manufaturer of the window about the issue. They also refused to replace or fix the defect at free of cost due to warranty expiry The window is broken twice within 7 years of purchase is Unbelievable. I spent around $800 for the windows. I also need to tell you that during installation, they broke my wall and plastered it. It could be installation or defective windowsReview from Brian W

Very poor service! My sales rep Mike suggested to go through their financial service so I didn't have to put any money down, he said that if I pay everything right away I wouldn't have to pay the interest. The day the workers finished my windows I had a check ready for them but they said they couldn't accept the check and that billing would get in contact with me. Over a month went by and I didn't see any bill and hadn't heard from the financial service. I called window nation and they directed me to the financial service. The financial service said they forgot to get in touch with me. I paid my full bill the first day I saw the bill but the financial service still wanted 40 days of interest which was over $400. This seems like a ****. They don't contact you so you acquire the interest. I could've paid my bill in full on day 1 but window nation told me I had to wait for them to reach out to me. The financial service basically told me too bad I have to pay it. When I call Window Nation they say I have to speak with a manager but the manager is never available and they say the manager will call me back. I've called multiple times a week for over a month and still haven't heard from manager. The quality of windows are ok but definitely not worth this headache. 2 thumbs DOWN!Review from Michael M

I had a salesman come in September and I purchased $30,000 in windows and doors. The salesman told me I could replace some windows that were floor to ceiling and the manufacturer told us the windows were to big for them to replace so that was very disappointing. The communication is terrible with the salespeople. I had to keep calling the salesperson because they never updated me and even 2 months from when I placed my order I still had not received confirmation on an installment time. Turns out my salesperson didn't work there anymore and it was almost 3 months before a nother salesperson contacted me to let me know. The person was Ted and he told me he was going to takeover my contract. Turns out he was no better I kept emailing him and never got responses. I ended up cancelling my contract. The company is the worst. Ted in Chicago your a terrible salesman, all you had to do was respond and now you guys lost a $30,000 sale. This company is not worth the headache, they don't deliver on what they promise.Review from Chalie L

I am 67 years old, and they were terrible. The salesman came to our house and everything he promised as the final price would be $243 but it would probably be lower, however the price was $267 for starters. Many other lies and manipulation & deceit. He said it would be 3 crews and 1 day to complete. However, it was 3 guys that were here for 4 hours and came back another day to finish. Installers wrecked the sidewalk, garage and windowsills with mulch all over the interior of the house. Salesman said house would be cleaner than when they came, what a wreck. Salesman said he would be here when they came to install, and he never showed up. We told them we wanted to be compensated, and Dan ****** said I would be compensated $600 for the wreck but it never happened. We wish we would have gone with WINDOW WORLD and their price ended up less than window nation. Call me if you want to know more.Review from ashley w

This was my first time buying new windows in my first home and was the worst experience I could have imagined to have happen. My windows were set to be installed September 23rd and was about a 2 day process. After the first day the install crew completely installed the windows and trim incorrectly. Window didn't open, windows were un level, outside trim damaged and the crew used caulk to cover the "imperfections" (the entire outside windows were covered in caulk) The crew left garbage everywhere on my property, nails in my yard(entire box spilled, and razor blades in my driveway and yard) A crew foreman than came out to "fix" these issues, they were not fixed, he just attempted to fix the terrible work that was done. November 4th I had a new team come out to fix those issues and install multiple new components to the windows and I still had broken/damaged screens, sashs and glass scratches.(they did not even clean the windows and after all this it was the least they could have done) Fast forward to December 6th I was told the additional parts were in to come back out AGAIN and to my surprise those parts we not in. December 31st I had the final broken piece replaced. The compensation for my windows being finished 3 months later and inconveniencing me by an additional 4 days I had to take off of work, $500 gift card. That felt like an insult to my time being wasted. This process was so disappointing. I felt taken advantage of being a female that they assumed I just wouldn't notice all the issues.
