I had my roof installed in the November of 2021. This was after pressure from the crew leader/manager that the windows they had just put in would not be fully covered in warranty due to the condition of my current roof. In the May of 2023 I had a leak around the area where the roof meets the chimney, it appears that the leak has been there all along and was building up inside the drywall of my attic ceiling, but had finally started to soak through the drywall to be come noticeable. They came out to do an inspection and did a re-caulk shortly thereafter. Then August of 2023 again a leak was noticed, they re-calcaulked again and had someone come out to fix the drywall of the attic ceiling. August of 2024 there is a leak again in the same area, this time there is mold growing on the inside of the house on the ceiling attic, and the drywall starts crumbling. After the leak is reported it takes a few weeks for them to come do an inspection and another few weeks to come re-caulk. October 2024 there is another leak detected, it takes a few weeks for them to schedule a supervisor to come out, he re-caulks again. He says we need to wait for rain to determine if the leak is fixed before re-doing the drywall. Last night we had a big storm come through, the leak is worse and spread out even more. I opened a ticket and called last night. They called me this morning and said they cannot come until 11/26/24 to inspect again. I made it clear I am now requesting the work on the roof in that area to be re-done completely. They have stated they need to get approval but will put it in my notes. I have provided pictures and video for every ticket opened. I am hoping I do not get pushback on having the roof work re-done. At this point re-caulking is no longer acceptable.

I gave a deposit for a roof job with the understanding that I could cancel within 3 business days. I canceled next business day via email as per the contract. I received two out of office emails. I received an email stating that wanted to visit to confirm the address for the refund. I have called several times. I have contacted the salesperson that came, who said I should not have any trouble getting a refund. The check has a ************ stamp and was cashed next day. Still no refund.

I am filing a complaint against HOMEFIX Remodeling for unethical sales and business practices. I worked with **************, a sales consultant from the ************** office, to replace windows and a sliding door in my 13th-floor condo. After spending over two hours selecting windows and securing financing through GreenSky, I made a down payment of approximately $1,000, and the contract was signed. The check cleared, and a second appointment was scheduled to finalize measurements and place the order.Everything proceeded as expected during the measurement meeting. However, approximately 30 days later, I received a call from *********************** at HOMEFIX, who informed me that they were canceling the contract because their team did not have the necessary skills to install windows and doors on the 13th floor. He assured me that my payment would be refunded, but I have yet to receive the check.The situation worsened because the credit tied up with ****************** prevented me from securing another loan, as the original loan request exceeded 30 days. This caused unnecessary delays and financial complications.Ultimately, I consulted directly with Pella Windows and Doors, who not only provided a better estimate but also took the necessary steps to meet the engineering specifications for installation on an upper floor.My complaint against HOMEFIX Remodeling is for:1. **Unethical Sales Practices**: They signed a contract, accepted payment, and activated a financing loan through ******************, only to cancel the contract over a month later due to their own lack of expertise.2. **Failure to Return Funds**: Despite their promise to return my down payment, I have yet to receive it.3. **Lack of Due Diligence**: HOMEFIX did not explore viable solutions for the installation, while another company was able to meet the requirements without issue.This experience has been frustrating, and I believe HOMEFIX Remodeling should be held accountable for their actions.

Evil company. They find business by going door-to-door and robocalling people, providing an egregiously high quote, and then claiming that the price will go higher if the potential client doesn't agree immediately. I went with them after counter-offering a reasonable price that they surprisingly agreed to, but when the work was done, the quality of the work was mediocre and they then demanded I agree to an even larger contract for more work, again at a ridiculous price. I said no, but since then I have received calls from an overseas call center saying that "HomeFix is in your area" weekly despite asking repeatedly to be taken off their list and despite being on the Do-Not-Call list. I assume the "warranty" I was offered won't be honored if I ever have issues in the future. The BBB and perhaps even the feds need to take a hard look at this company.

From the first person to the installation crew everyone was professional and courteous. ************** the market manager was great, explaining everything, coming back during install to check on how it was going, and following up about receipt of vacation package. I would recommend them to everyone

I canceled my contract for some windows. I am getting the run around on getting my $4,894 deposit back. Today I spoke with ***** twice with Homefix at 845 this morning and again at 1p and she said someone would be calling me to let me know they are coming here for me to sign to get my deposit back. After not hearing from anyone I called the Maryland number around 245p and spoke with *****. She said it takes a few weeks for the cancelation and a few weeks to get a refund. This is ridiculous. I do not understand why **'s has them as an authorized contractor. All I want is my deposit back and confirmation that I am getting it. So sorry I did a ACH payment. I have reached out to **'s to report this as well but no response from anyone there yet.

HCR canceled my contract the day of the install, then texted me and asked if the install happened I replied back no, Then no contact from HCR. Mean while all the material has been left in my front yard since February.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY - NO MATTER THE PRODUCT!!! They overcharge and do not honor their warranties! Do yourself a favor and find someone else!!! Awful awful service especially for the price!!!!

After getting pressured to give them my info (girl wouldnt take a no), they harassed ** by calling back to back, and even banged on our window! If they try this again then Im calling the cops. Appointment or not you do not bang like youre trying to break in! And yes, what they were doing is considered legal harassment and I will contact authorities if it continues.
