work done 2/2023… had a toilet put in our basement… also moved our sanitary tub and a pvc pipe to use to drain our washer… Work very shoddy… after work was completed we washed a tub of clothes and water came UP into our sanitary tub… called and they sent Mr J S******* out next 2/21/23 … when he came to our home he said I know what the problem is and to correct it would cost $1000.00.. I said no thank you because we didnot have this before… Siad didnot care for what they did by using my existing pipes from my upstairs because he to us was using pipes from where sanitary tub was… He commented I quote “I’m the plumber… Mr J S******* was very intimidating… I show how water coming UP into sanitary tub he said (using his thumb and finger) it only comes up this much… also could put a plug in the sanitary tub and then water won’t come up… Remember his quote I’m the plumber… He said you got your toilet which is true that is what we wanted but not shoddy job plus water when using washer comes UP into tub… Last thing he said was What do you want to do? I was little scared and last thing I said was “I want you to leave” He went up the stairs and left… I am 75 years old my husband will be 80…My husband sleeps down stairs on a reclining bed his oxygen machine in next to his bed and he uses portable tank during day… wanted and needed toilet down stair (which we got) so peace of mind him not coming up stair at all hours.. Our main TV in down stair and his computer… I believe Mr J S****** needs Anger Manegment… We do not want anything to do with This man but would like something done about our problem…… Thank you listening and any help… ***** *****

The existing cast iron sewer stack has an 1 1/2" branch that served the existing utility sink. The existing washing machine discharged into the utility sink which acted as a reservoir since the washing machine dscharges more than the 1 1/2" pipe can carry.

We relocated the utility sink and installed a washing machine standpipe to allow a toilet to be installed in it's existing rough in location and avoid breaking up the concrete floor to relocate the toilet to save the customer money.

Now when the washing machine discharges, it backs up just a little into the relocated utility sink, which is again acting like a reservoir allowing the 1 1/2" pipe to drain.

The proper way to remedy this would be to patially replace a section of the cast iron stack with pvc and a 2" branch to the washing machine. This was not included in the original proposal and the customer was informed that it would be an additional cost of $1000.00.

We would be glad to return at no additional cost and install a new washing machine discharge hose to the relocated utility sink. This would allow the utility sink to act as a reservoir as before.

I sent a email earlier today??? I am not good with computers…I am not going to pay $1000.00 to correct the work that this company did… They want to put a longer washing machine hose so my washer will drain in the sanitary tub that I had it doing before the company did any work… I paid to move sanitary tub and put in a washing machine stand pipe for drainage… This  was proposed before work was started… (but I got my toilet Mr J S*******). By them connecting to my upstairs pipes ( was told on day of proposal using basement pipes) the one pipe is slanted by the workers who connect their pipe… When mentioned on day after the job to Mr J S******* he said quote “you’re not having any problems are you” and I said quote “no not yet”… I have never ever complaint to BBB on any work done at my home… I want this complaint in their files. I was intimidated on 02/21/23 by him but now I am mad by their shoddy work… Don’t know if anything can be done but thanks for listening…. ***** *****
