Contracted for a pool & pool deck from Stevenson Pools. They poured the concrete deck wrong, pitched towards our home. Every time it rains, water enters our foundation walls and into the basement causing damage, mold and unsafe conditions, water remains in the basement for several days after each rain. Concerns for health safety due to mold and foundation stability. Prior to the deck being poured by Stevenson Pools, there was no issues with water because the ground pitched away from the house (was a grass area, now covered by a concrete pool deck).Multiple attempts disclosing this design flaw have gone unanswered by the company. We sent video and photo evidence along with a detailed explanation of the problem this design is now causing. Absolutely no response from Stevenson Pools, they have gone silent.

    Dear ****************,

Our contractor, ********************, has since been out to make repairs on the concrete deck at the ********* residence.  The drain pipe was opened up on both ends to allow water to drain out of both sides redirecting from the house.  They then resealed between the drain and house.  They are currently monitoring to see if anything more needs to be done.

    Thank you,

    Stevenson Pools

July 2020 Stevenson Pools was hired to renovate an existing pool at my home. September 2020 Stevenson emptied the existing pool of all water, removed the coping, and sauna walls were demolished. October 2020 The patio surrounding the pool was demolished and preparation for concrete pouring began. Coping and tile around pool and the front of the sheer descent wall was tiled. October/November 2020 concrete was poured and travertine tile was installed around entire pool. November/December 2020 we contacted Stevenson to find out when work would continue and when the pool would be winterized. No one ever came to winterize the pool. December 2020 to March 8, 2021 no one calls or comes to home and we were told to wait until the weather warms for construction to continue. April 2021 Dumpster is delivered to property to begin removal or trash and debris left from October 2020. June 8, 2021 Existing plaster inside of pool is dem'd and a primer and topcoat are applied to the inside of pool. Stevenson uncovers Hydrostatic Plug and removes plug. New plaster is applied and pool is filled with water on June 12, 2021. June 16, 2021 Contacted Stevenson to inform that water level is dropping and there appears to be a leak and cracks in tile. June 18, 2021 Stevenson sends ****** to access pool. June 20, 2021 again contact Stevenson to complain of water level dropping and cracks in travertine tile on patio. June - July 2021 Stevenson sends ****** back to our home to continue to access after persistent calls and emails. July-August 2021 contact Stevenson via email, phone, and text to complain about water level dropping, cracks in travertine tile, and A LARGE CRACK inside the pool and patio heaving. August 2021 - December 2021 contacted Stevenson via email AND phone and no one returns my calls. I've contacted ***** (owner), ****, *******, and ******* and gotten NO response from anyone. The pool and patio are not level, travertine is broken and there is a LARGE CRACK INSIDE.
