I had more vehicle inspected on September 9, 2024. I scheduled an appointment to have my vehicle re-inspected on September 23, 2024 at 8am. The merchant's wife called and informed me that the owner Mr. Kim P******** would not be doing my car inspection due to an unforeseen family emergency. I asked when could I bring the car in to have it re-inspected and she stated to bring the car in anytime on Friday September 27, 2024. I called the business on September 26, 2024 to confirm that I could still bring the vehicle in for re-inspection at this phone conversation the owner's wife stated to me that Mr. Kim P******** would not be able to perform the re-inspection on the vehicle and that I should come to the business on Friday morning September 27, 2024 for my refund. I came back on the business and no one was there. I called the business and no one would answer the business phone number. I went back to the business several times that day and the business was not open. I called the business number on Monday September 30, 2024 and no one answered the phone. I drove to the business and again it was not open for business. I walked to the door and there was a sign that stated, "Due to unforeseen circumstances Protech Auto Repair will not be do any repairs or inspections until further notice." "any questions or concerns please contact 443-******** or 443-********. On October 1, 2024 I called the cell phone number listed and Mr. Kim P******** basically disregarded my concerns about the refund or getting my car re-inspected and that I should wait for him to call me back on Thursday, October 3, 2024. This is unprofessional and Mr. Kim P******** is fully aware that my inspection has 30 days or 1000 miles in order for services to be completed. My inspection form will run out next week October 9, 2024. I truly believe that my time is valuable as a consumer and I should not be going through this time of situation in order to get a vehicle inspection completed.

We took our vehicle in, July 2023 to see if it needed a transmission. A few days, no later than a week later, the owner said that’s what it needed. Paid half of the money that week and the other half once he said the vehicle was ready. The whole ordeal was only about 3 weeks. No paperwork was provided at that time pertaining to the warranty, no receipt was given for the transmission, only an overall invoice. Why? My wife knew this mechanic for over 20 yrs and she trusted him. Vehicle was driving however I would feel a knock still and September 3, 2023 it started not driving past 45-50. Drove it to Protech and parked it, the next morning, the owner called and said I want to know why your truck up here, rudely. I explained what was happening and never mentioned a transmission. However, first thing that came out of his mouth was your transmission is out of warranty and claimed it ran out of warranty while it was sitting at the shop waiting for our second payment. I have a bank statement that says my wife and I didn’t take long paying it because we needed that vehicle. So now since September 2023 the owner claimed he was trying to help us out and find another transmission and we would have to pay for labor again… which we agreed to do so, it just seems he gave up on fixing it.

Customer was called several times and didn't have the money to pick up the vehicle. the warranty was 90 days from our parts supplier the warranty voided. after the 90 days. And could have charged additional fees. for not paying as promised, still trying to help the customer but it was his own Falt for not paying on time. thanks.

I took my truck using this shop as a last resort for a vehicle inspection . They kept my truck for about 2 weeks was not answering calls from neither me or my boyfriend . They called Sunday 10/02 for the first time i was in church and missed the call so i returned it no answer i sent a text no reply so i just went up to the business to check on my truck he then stated that it has been finished and they have called me several times and left voicemails i had no calls or voicemails from then except one missed call Sunday which the business was closed on that day . Once getting my truck the low engine oil light was on then the check engine light came on i took it to ********* they stayed it was showing catalytic converter . I took it to the shop where i purchased it he confirmed that it was the catalytic converter and confirmed that the shop that i had my truck at had to have messed it up which is why they kept my truck so long they have no been returning my calls or text still . They gave me an inspection pass paper so i know for sure that was never a issue before my truck came to that shop . I never had any light on it any problems out of my truck . I do not trust them to fix the problem but i do want them to pay for my damage that they have caused if i have to get an attorney i will
