I think we could not have had a better experience than we had with Metropolitan ************ We had shower doors and tile installed over the course of one week. *** came every day, on time, and proceeded to turn out a beautifully done piece of work. *********************** patiently answered all my questions and made sure all details were attended to. My husband and I were completely happy with our bathroom remodel by Metropolitan Bath and Tile and would heartily recommend them . Our job was a complete tear out of our main bathroom in a 1940s home with plaster walls and old plumbing. Our first experience was with the estimator ********************* who spent almost 3 hours measuring and assessing our job so that there would be no surprises. He was fantastic, informative and helpful. Next was working with our designer *********************** who was also excellent and presented options and pricing in a very organized presentation at the Bowie showroom. I would mention to potential customers that this first design meeting does take hours so allow enough time as it is time well spent to have this one stop shopping experience. ********* asked lots of questions and offered excellent suggestions. Next came scheduling and their scheduler *** kept us in the loop and was most accommodating. Once the job started we can't say enough about the installers ***** and ***** and how thoughtful and professional they were. But the real prize was the *************************. ***** was the ******* and he is a master craftsman with 20 years in the business of bathrooms. His workmanship was exceptional as was his attention to detail. His tile work was excellent and he discovered and addressed many things along the way. Bathroom remodels take time and you can't wait for it to be over but we looked forward to seeing ***** each morning. He is a reason to use Metropolitan. As will happen , we did have some issues as we neared completion and in stepped *************. Every one of our concerns was addressed and handled immediately. We were very impressed and satisfied. We heartily recommend Metropolitan Bath and Tile. Their people, their commitment, their warranty--the peace of mind in knowing that everything, including the things behind the walls that you don't see is done right. ***** and *******************

We are totally happy with our master bathroom remodel from Metropolitan Bath and Tile! My husband first heard about your place on the radio channel, WTOP. He then did research on his own, before deciding to go with Metropolitan Bath and Tile. We visited the Rockville showroom and was quite overwhelmed with the choices we had for the remodel, but with the help of Rebecca we were able to complete our choices. Thank you, Rebecca! When our project was started, Ji Jung kept me in informed of everything that was going to take place on our remodel. Thank you, Ji! We also, decided midway through our bathroom remodel that we wanted a exhaust/light/heater installed. Miguel did a nice job on the install and Reggie was great with the drywall touchup! Thanks Miguel and Reggie! And our biggest thanks goes to Paul who did a beautiful job on our entire bathroom remodel! He did an excellent job, and communicated to us everything that he was doing. He listened to our concerns and was able to answer all of our questions. He also was very neat and always kept the area clean. I will definitly recommend Metropolitan Bath and Tile for anyone looking for a bathroom remodel!

I work for a general contractor so I feel that I know what I want. Also, for others reading this, what you should want! You do not want a GC that is going to subcontract everything out. You want a GC that does it all and preferably one or two people. One stop shopping! They have a show room with everything that you would want to use. You purchase everything right there. Their designers are very knowledgeable, patient and professional. My wife and I spent hours there, twice!! We had a master bath from 1984. Used and outdated. Not cheap but you are getting quality products, organization, scheduling and a quality installation. Our took a total of two weeks to demo and install. One note here. They do not paint or install shower enclosures. However, they recommend a company called Dulles Glass. I shopped around a bit and they were the most organized, had brochures and great pricing. Once you agree to a price and sign up, they would be out in 7-10 days to install. The gentleman name Paul did our install. Quiet, very polite, professional, helpful, etc. Just can't say enough. Support was great also. A fellow named Ray was my contact, a very nice person who I believe runs the field.. In conclusion, I am very happy and hope to do the hall bath next year.

It was such a pleasure dealing with Metropolitan Bath and Tile! They kept us informed of the progress of our project every step of the way. They even were able to complete the remodeling earlier than originally planned. Paul was very professional and did a fantastic job installing everything and cleaning up afterwards. He went out of his way to make sure any damage done to the walls was taken care of before he finished. Norwood Stone Corporation was on time and completed their part in a timely manner. When I had a question about a shower door, Lem, from Metropolitan got back to me immediately. It is totally refreshing to deal with a company like Metropolitan Bath and Tile and it is a pleasure to highly recommend them!

Jason, Dakota and Chase installed a walkin tub for us. They are THE BEST. They are experts in their work and very professional. This is the second time they have done a bathroom remodel / installation for us. Cloud Kennedy was once again our sales person. We enjoy working with him. He is very knowledgeable and professional. We signed a contract with Metropolitan Bath and Tile to remodel our bathroom on January 19, 2023. On April 7, they begged us to let them begin on April 10, saying the cabinets would be arriving May 15, and they could quickly finish up then. They took FOUR months, finally finishing the bathroom on August 7. Each week a future date would be promised even though they had no idea when the materials would arrive. Our contract stated the work would be completed in 30 days. They didn’t tell us that meant 30 “working” days, so they actually worked 21 days, but it took 4 months! Metropolitan Bath uses purposeful deception to make customers think they are getting a good deal. They told us we would get a $600 discount if we chose the materials in one day. They were irritated because we had to spend a second day traveling to the Rockville location because some of the items were available only in that showroom. We stupidly signed the contract without asking about the $600 and were told they had taken the $600 off, but they never offered proof. They refused to give us an itemized list of materials and labor. After we picked vanity lights and they were installed, the lights were obviously not bright enough for the location. When we selected the lights, our Metropolitan sales representative told us the lights would be plenty bright enough and might even need a dimmer, but he was furious when we expected him to replace the lights with something appropriate. We finally got the lights replaced, but he completely lost his temper when he came to the job site, ranting and raving about “who is going to pay for the replacement lights.” We expected Metropolitan Bath to be professional and efficient, but we found that not to be true. The actual work done by Rusty and his crew was great, but we would never again want to work with a company like Metropolitan.

We are glad to hear that you are happy with our crew that worked in your home, their great job and the final product.  We have been remodeling bathrooms exclusively, for more than 40 years. The majority of our work is from repeat customers and referrals. We wouldn't remodel so many bathrooms over such a long period of time if we didn't deliver a superior product with superior customer service. I can assure you there was no purposeful deception with the length of time for your project. Delays to your project due to back-ordered material are frustrating for both parties and, unfortunately, out of our control. Our production staff communicated that some materials were not yet received to finish the project; however, we had enough materials to begin or select a new start date contingent upon the material's arrival. We always want our customers to participate in the decision-making process and let us know when we can begin the project. We mutually agreed to start knowing and understanding that some materials had not arrived yet. Our intention was for you to have a fully functional bathroom while we waited for the back-ordered product, we offered to set temporary fixtures for missing materials, but you declined. On August 22 our Sales Manager emailed you proof of the coupon being applied to your project and an invite to review our confidential breakdown with one of our designers in our Annandale location, to which you replied on August 23 that you do not accept her explanation or the offer to meet and review the breakdown of the project. It is unfortunate that after multiple attempts by both our Production department and Sales department that we were unable to leave you completely satisfied because we would not offer credits to your account without deleting materials or services rendered as you requested; we instead strived to deliver the best end product while maintaining consistent communication and keeping our company values. Based off of your own review we have accomplished that goal.

Our bathroom remodel was successful, including the follow ups for an unusual need to rehang a painting. Especially wonderful were Reggie, the drywall finisher, and Chris, the designer.
