My fiancé and I purchased our home in October 14th, 2022 with a contingency that the septic would be completely replaced at the expense of the previous homeowners. The septic has been replaced and working fine. The only on-going issue that we have had is that this company has left the job incomplete. They never completed the grading of the yard or reseeding. They left a trench that led directly from the house to the tanks for electric but was never used and was not refilled, which my fiancé and I to refill it by hand ourselves. This trench lead to rain water going under the house, which we had to fix by hand. There is also erosion on the distribution box and drainage field from the rain. We were told that the job would have been completed in 6 months and it’s now been just over 7 months. I have had multiple attempts to reach out to Jimmy in regards to this matter to which I’ve only received excuse after excuse. His crew left trash in our yard as well. We had to go buy a tractor to move all the dirt that was left as well to make the yard look somewhat normal but it is still not graded or seeded. I just want my yard to look like an actually yard rather than a sand field. There is also spots in the yard that never held water but now does. The low spots from the equipment has to be filled along with the grading and seeding of the rest of the yard. We also need the erosion to be taken care of as well on the drainage field.

    Complaint* ********

I am rejecting this response because:  After our recent complaint with the company, the President/CEO reached out to me the next day to come up with a solution to the problem. During our conversation, the President advised that they fully understood that the Health department will not sign off on the project unless it completed (graded and seeded). The president also stated she was sorry it has taken this long (8 months as of June 14th) and quote “we will make sure it is completed within the next couple weeks”. This past Wednesday 6/14/23, was the two week mark. On Thursday 6/15/23, I attempted to reach out to the President again and there was no response. NOTE: no work has been started nor completed within the past two weeks.

With all this said, can we please reopen this complaint. Thank you in advance!

    Sincerely,

    Austin *****

Good afternoon. I am not really sure why we are revisiting this issue again. I, Julie ****** did reach out to Mr. ***** immediately after his first initial complaint about the yard being seeded and finished. Not that his septic doesn’t work or anything else that he wasn’t satisfied with. We were hired by the previous owner of this home and the job was done. There are many other factors that go into finishing this job as in other jobs we do and have done like the “weather” and how saturated the ground is for our heavy equipment. In any event since my last conversation with Mr. ***** I did exactly as I stated and I spoke with James ****** who is also part owner and we came up with a resolution and he reached out to Mr. ***** who refused to communicate with him. I spoke through text messages to Mr. ***** on 6/21/23 and asked him to please communicate with Mr. ****** about the resolution as I do not perform the work I only handle important business matters like this.  Mr. ***** never hired us nor paid us this was all done through the original owner of this property who has not made a complaint and we both have spoken to the realtor about this BBB complaints being filed repeatedly about something minor especially since there has been so much communication about it.  I personally feel like it being reopened would be highly unfair considering that we certainly have tried to resolve this. I understand the frustration but sometimes things are out of our control and weather like rain is definitely one of those things. I certainly want Mr. ***** to be satisfied but I don’t want to be answering to BBB every other week over this issue.

    Thank you

    Julie ******
