On July 12th 2024 I had my 2005 Hummer H2 serviced at Palmer Spring. After getting my vehicle home I noticed a lot of greasy hand prints on my step tubes. I started to clean the hand prints. I noticed a large dent under the step tube. I was puzzled by this. I noticed the same type of dent on the other step tube. I contacted the owner ( ***** ***** ) about this. He denied any wrong doing and said to talk to ( ***** ) the manager. He also denied any wrong doing. I asked the owner to talk to the technician to hear about this. Still the owner denied any wrong doing. I told him this damage was not there when I brought it in. 2 days later July 14th the manager sent a text to me saying he wanted to talk to me about what happened. He said the technician told him the Hummer slipped off the lift while lowering it down. He said he forgot to tell me. He said he wants to replace them out of his own pocket because it's his fault for not telling me. He asked me to send the link to him that have the step tubes. I did he has not responded yet about getting the parts. I have sent him several text messages and he does not reply. I have sent several text messages to the owner. The owner keeps telling me to contact *****. The owner does not want to take responsibility for the damage done in his workplace by an employee. I have all the text messages saved to prove all of this. It appears that Palmer Spring does not want to replace the step tubes that was damaged by them even though they have admitted they caused it. For me to replace and have new ones installed would cost roughly $300.

I called Palmer Spring on Monday May 15th. I told ***** that I had a 2011 Infiniti QX56 that need the spring strut assembly installed. I already have the parts. My mechanic cannot do it because you need a special tool for the hydraulics. Do you have the tool and is this something you can do. Let me check, yes, we can do it. I asked are you sure you have the equipment you need for the hydraulics. Again, I was told yes. I asked how much and was told about $529 in labor. I asked when you can do it. ***** said Tomorrow Tuesday. Dropped the Infinity off Monday night. Received a phone call on Wednesday that both Ball joints also needed to be replaced. I asked how much. ***** said about $80 for each ball joint a front-end alignment and the labor won't be much because we already have it apart, so about the same as the Springs $529. I said okay. By Friday the 19th I had not heard from Palmer Springs so I called. They said they did not have the hydraulic fluid and had to order it. *** my husband called Monday the 22nd. Palmer Springs probably tomorrow (Tuesday). On Friday May 26th I received a phone call to come pick the truck up. I was informed that they did not bleed the hydraulic fluid system and I would have to find someone that could do that. My bill came to $1380.10. I was expecting around $1000.00. I talked to the person behind the counter who told me he could do nothing and to came back when ***** was back from vacation on Tuesday. I went in Tuesday to speak with ***** and told him I do not agree with my bill. You did not finish the job. You also had me pick up the truck without the hydraulics being bleed and drive it home. I was informed by Infiniti that I should have not driven the truck that way because it can ruin the whole system. The ball joints and the alignment and labor should have equal around $530. I was charged $1006.25 in labor. I asked ***** to break the labor down for me and itemize it. He said no I am not doing that, and I do not have to. I asked what all the labor was for and he said part of the labor was for research and trying to find out how to bleed the hydraulic system. I told him I should not have to pay for that. You told me you had what was needed to do the job. ***** told me that my springs were bad, and I am in no worse of a situation then when I dropped it off. ***** said he made a mistake don't you ever make mistakes. I told him that was not the point. I had an appointment with Infiniti for July 12th. The truck would be completed for $530. I now have to take the truck to infinity have the system bled and tow the truck there. that's $300 more that I have to pay. He did not care. He told me to call the owner but would not give me a number or email. I would like a refund for the $380 and the money it will cost for Infinity to fix the truck and have it towed. They are very rude and unwilling to resolve anything. ***** said they would have tried to find someone to bleed the system but I wanted my truck back. Palmer Spring had my truck for 10 days.
