I paid *********************** $2000 in August of 2021 for a Yoga Alliance Certified yoga teacher training course. I also spent additional money on books, equipment, gas for 90 miles one way. The Course was suppose to be 200 hours with a certain amount of hours in different categories she did not cover. It was suppose to be at a studio and we all found out the day of meeting it was in someones small livingroom. The course was suppose to end in May of 2022. ***** did not hardly teach us a thing in that 8 months or keep her word on assignments, days we were suppose to meet online or in person. She did not teach what is required through yoga aliance which I will be reporting to them and also taking her to small claims court to try and get a refund. 12 out of the 13 students dropped out and expressed their unsatisfaction with her and her training. One person did win in small claims court and got her refund. ***** is not a yoga teacher by any means, she is a scam. She has scammed us all into a ton of money and time wasted. The program was to continue an additional 5 months because "she has never had a program be this messy" because she did not cover any of the requirements. She was rude, unprofessional, manipulative and took no accountability for the issues brought to her attention. We didn't touch any of the 14 books she asked us to purchase. She did not teach most of the exam. She was not willing to work through my concerns, only shift blame to me and threaten to remove me from the program with no certificate. She has changed her business name once already due to the same issues and bad reviews. She should not be a yoga teacher or able to scam people of thousands of dollars so she can be a stay at home Mom. I learned nothing from her except tolerance and a hard ****** to not trust a pretty website and disingenuine words to get people on board. I wasted a year of wanting to grow as a yoga teacher and now have to pay another 2-3,000 for a credible yoga studio to become certified.
