October 25, 2023 at approximately 6:00pm I purchased a vehicle for Labadie GMC. The day I purchase the vehicle I left it there and returned back to work. The next day I Paid the license plate fee and took the vehicle home. Upon taking the vehicle home I discovered I wasn't able to get the rear control to work. I called my sales person **** and he assured me he would show me the following day when I come pick up the license plate. The next day it was discovered that it was broken n I was told wait 30 days when the warranty I purchased would become active. Within the first week the tires started losing air (3/4). Shortly after the vehicle started randomly coming to a stop while the vehicle was being driven. (Very dangerous). The vehicle started shaking around 50 MPH, and engine started ticking. I made an appt with the service **** with ******. My vehicle was service for 3 weeks,a loaner vehicle was provided. I had to pay $153 for a vehicle Inspection, with an estimate of $3k plus needed for repairs, oil leak, tires, pump, rear latch, etc I was told by ****** that GM covered a pump for $700 that should fix the random braking. I also paid $100 deductible for the rear console to get fixed. Upon return of the vehicle 3 tires were 16 lbs of pressure or less, the engine was still ticking although i was told by ****** it needed oil and that they had put oil in there. Also, ****** would NOT provide me with a full written list of repairs with cost for labor & materials. After driving the vehicle for a week, check engine light came on, service parking assist comes on, service side assist comes on, the seatbelt notification works intermittently, there is a noise as if the suspension is coming apart near front passenger tire when the wheel is turned while reversing. When the rear control was fixed it was discover the back seat on the driver side doesn't heat up. I contacted the sales manager *********************** n left a voice-mail to try to get things resolved. It's been a week and no call back. I would like for this vehicle to either 1. be repaired 100% correctly under MCL ******** including a loaner so that I can be able to transport back n forth to my place or employment, 2. be returned n removed off of my credit with a 0 balance remaining, or 3. Be traded in for a vehicle that's safe and road ready without negative equity on current vehicle As of 3/9/24 the vehicle will no longer start up.

On or about July 7, 2023 I took my vehicle in for diagnosis of a possible transmission issue and an possible oil leak to Labadie Cadillac in ********, MI. I called the dealership the following day and spoke to Service Worker *********************. I told ************* that all repairs would need to be approved through Assurant Auto, provided him with all needed information, and to keep me updated on the progress. Days and weeks went by of trying to contact ************* by phone and text. to no avail. ************* made no contact with me about my repair in any way at any time.In one text that I did receive form *************, he stated that he was "too busy." ( i have that text). I personally went in to Labadie to speak with ********************* about the repair on 9/8/2023. He stated he would contact me in 3 days with an update, No contact was made. My vehicle continued to sit at the repair facility with no contact from ************* or anyone else at Labadie Auto. Additionally, I also made several contacts to the manager of Labadie Automotive, *****************. I emailed him, called him, and spoke with a secretary at Labadie Auto who stated that she personally handed *************** a note to contact me about this issue. Again no contact was made by *************** in any way to resolve my service issue. Additionally my vehicle is not the same after the diagnostics that were performed. Multiple dash lights are on now and continually beep. The tire pressure sensors were not reset. The clear plastic that covers the dash reset area is cracked. When I turn on the ** there is a hissing sound. I asked *************** several times for a detailed list of charges that were submitted to Assurant by Labadie. To this date I have not had my vehicle repaired, and also never received that information regarding the charges. I would like a refund for whatever work that Labadie claims that they did and to repair the damages that they caused to my vehicle.BBB please help to protect me and other consumers from this bad business.

[A default letter is provided here which indicates your rejection of the business's response.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of why I am rejecting this response appear below:
A representative from Labadie and I met today, but were unable to come to mutual resolution. As noted by Labadie in writing to Assurant, Labadie states a diagnosis was done to the one non working tire pressure monitor. Now none of them work. Labadie states that they can not reset them. As noted by Labadie to Assurant, there were only 2 trouble lights on the  vehicle when it was brought in. After the diagnosis, the vehicle has many trouble lights on that were not previously there, and witnessed by Assurant. Labadie states they will not fix or turn off what was caused during their diagnosis. I asked Labadie to return my vehicle to the same condition as when I brought it in. Labadie refused.
