    Completely useless customer service. Maytag washer and dryer both have bad control panels and they won't do anything about it. Both units are less than 3 years old. It is a shame that they are allowed to operate a business in this manner. I was told on the phone (after 44 minutes of being on hold) that the minimum charge for a service call would be $600. Then once repairs are determined they would add parts and labor to that fee. I hope nobody else has to go through this, but looking at the reviews for Maytag Bravos washer and dryer this is a well-known, documented issue that Maytag just wants to ignore. Bad actors like this should be punished for making products that don't work then not providing help to their customers. EPA should also be notified as there is no buy-back program so these units that only last 3-4 years are being thrown in a landfill somewhere. Absolutely ridiculous!!!

    Maytag Dryer - Had to replace a new Motor for a dryer that is less than 5 years old. I have called, emailed and ******** message customer service. They are useless!!! No response except asking for model and serial number. I have purchased both the ********************** washer and dryer - they state directly on the actual machine that they offer a 10 year warranty on parts!! I keep getting the run around and no valid response. DO NOT purchase their products!!! This company is not consumer friendly.

    Maytag TOP LOAD LARGE CAPACITY WASHER WITH DEEP CLEAN OPTION- 5.3 CU. FT. MVWB835DW we had for 4 years. Should be lasting for at least 10 years. The controls on the touch pad selections are not working. We called a technician to come out and he said it would cost $587 to replace the whole control panel. They want let them work on the panel controls only can replace the whole front panel box that starts the wash. For that price just buy a new one. Why would you want to replace this when a new washer and better brand to buy is the same price as replacing the whole thing. Maytag and Whirlpool only out to make more money. They don't make washers and dryers to last at least 10 years anymore. And you can't get parts for them especially here in the US they come from foreign countries. The warranties don't cover anything on them, so why buy the warranty. The wait time is terrible for parts. Smarter to buy a better brand and at least get it delivered quicker.

    My washer is only 6 months old and died on May 30th, with clothes and water stuck inside because the lid was latched. Maytag wouldnt send anyone out until June 8th and they still couldnt get the lid unlatched and had to order parts on back order. In the meantime, the smell was horrendous. I had to call them every week until the parts finally came on July 5th. So they came out again and it was the wrong part so now we wait for another part. With a load full of stinky clothes. They now have more money in parts and labor than what the washer cost. I have called customer service numerous times asking for a replacement and they just dont care. They wont help or give any resolution. I have lost money in clothing that is rotten and money spent at laundromat with no resolution. Im beyond upset!!

    I purchased a Maytag washer (MVWB757JWO/C934 *****) August 20, 2020. It died 6/18/2022.The main circuit board went after only a year and 10 months. I waited on hold for someone to pick up the phone at Maytag customer service for hours, then called a local repairman because I needed to go on with my life. His estimate charge was $189.99 and he told me that the repair would cost $789.00. (The machine cost $750 brand new) Naturally, it would be stupid to spend that much to repair an inferior product. I called Maytag again and actually got through after holding 45 minutes - I was told that I should have bought the extended warranty. I told her that I thought that a Maytag was reliable. Why would I want to purchase an extended warranty and perhaps go through what the third reviewer on this page went through when the machine would surely last the average washer life span of ***** years? Who hasn't seen the sad Maytag repairman commercial - his phone never rings because Maytag appliances are so reliable! This is FALSE advertising. I sent a letter to Maytag detailing my complaint and they never responded, so after 30 days, I sent a complaint in to the ** Office of the Attorney General asking that they contact Maytag and have them compensate me for my loss. (At least 8 years of a useable washing machine!). Everyone needs to take the issue of junk appliances to their state officials and representatives. Maybe then we will see some quality changes when these companies realize they will need to compensate people for their trash products. I also take great exception to the A+ rating that the BBB gives to a company who does not care to respond to written correspondence regarding their products' lack of quality. Come on, BBB, many people rely upon your ratings when dealing with a company,. Also, BBB wants me to leave a star rating in order to have my review posted. I guess i am coerced to do so, but Maytag does not deserve even one star!

    I purchased a Maytag washer from Lowes in June 2021 within 6 months of purchase December 22 2021 I had to call the warranty company..tech came out and said there was a recall on the electric board it was fixed a week later. The tech also told me he gets calls all the time on my model. Well now after first repair was resolved I yet again have another issue tech came out today May 8 2022 and told me the washer needs New gears and a basket..I went to Lowes where I purchased it they said that they are just a distributor that I had to call Maytag I called Maytag Maytag told me unless the technician writes on the ticket that it is non-repairable then there is nothing they can do about it the technician also told me I have to wait two months for my parts I explain this to Maytag and Maytag didnt see to care I also explained to the supervisor at Maytag that I do not have confidence in this washer anymore that I would like it to be replaced with another washer the response I got from the supervisor was. We just cant go out and replace everyones appliances. I explained to the supervisor I cant go two months without washing clothes either so how are you going to make me happy. I got no response from said supervisor. The model number of this washer is MVW6200KW0.
