  The project for building my trex decking started in November 2024 by Decks Unlimited. They did not finish the job. Left one of my access doors unfinished. I started calling them in April 2025. I was told the owner would call me to resolve the issue, this never happened.Now they are not returning my calls. All I want done is for them to finish the job.

  We have a contract to have a deck built with Decks Unlimited. We cannot get this company to come to our home to do the work they keep promising to do. At least 3 different times we have been told work would be done on a specific date and no one came to work.On July 19th, we were called at approximately 8:30 a.m. and told workers would be coming to set posts that day. When no one had arrived by 1:30 that day, we called the business and were told that definitely someone was coming that afternoon to do work. At 4:30 we received and Edible Arrangements delivery thanking us for our patience, but nobody came to do any work.On July 21, we again received a phone call at approximately 8:30 a.m. telling us that workers were coming that day to set posts and that they would work over the weekend to do the framing. At approximately 4:15 pm that day we called to ask if anyone was coming. At that time, we were told that the owner himself would definitely be out later that afternoon to do the work and that work would also be done over the weekend.It is now 5:15 pm Saturday July 22 and no one has come to do any work.Holes for the posts were dug on July 17 and nothing has been done since then. We understand that weather has caused delays,. We also understand the business is also short-handed. We do not understand why this owner of this business cannot keep his promises to his customers.If the owner cannot do the work he promised on the days he promised it, we would like our money back and we will hire another contractor who can.

  Better Business Bureau:

  I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********.    The only response was the owner's name with no other information.

  The owner contacted us by telephone the morning after I filed the complaint and did come to do framing work that same afternoon.  The project is still in process and we will give this business an appropriate amount of time to completed it. If it does, we will consider this complaint resolved.
