My wife and I traded in our Buick ****** and was approved for a ****** Sequoia ****. What we didn't know and was not told or aware that this vehicle didn't have the catalytic converters on the vehicle. The next day ****'s brother looked underneath the vehicle that there was just straight pipes where the catalytic converters were supposed to be. *** and the owner told ** that there was nothing that they could do because we drove the vehicle off the lot. In ***************** it's against the law to sell a vehicle without catalytic converters. Then they said that they could replace them but we'd have to purchase them and they would do the work for free. Umm no you replace them for free no charge. Wanted help please because the vehicle is not running correctly because we have no catalytic converters on the vehicle.

Hello, we have further reviewed this situation and decided to move forward with the repair, we recommend the customer call and make a appointment as soon as its convenient for him. The ************************** inspections section did come out and review the paperwork of the vehicle sold and found that full throttle trading WAS NOT IN VIOLATION of any wrong doing, however even thow the customer signed a as-is warranty agreement we have decided to fix/repair the issue at hand. My wife and I bought a **** ****** Sequoia from Full Throttle on Aug 6, 2022. We thought we checked the vehicle over but we were wrong. The next day we checked the vehicle over and found out that the vehicle has no catalytic converters. The vehicle is supposed to have two catalytic converter and they replaced them with steel pipes. We told them and they said that they didn't the last owner did that. They're wrong they did it. They sold us a vehicle without them. And found out they took all of the catalytic converters off the vehicles they have. I thought that that's illegal. We want to know if they are responsible for them and have them put them back on. Full Throttle won't replace them and it's not their fault.Business response

Hello, this vehicle was sold as-is however we would be willing to get the new parts at our cost and we would take care of the labor to install them at our facility if the customer would be willing to pay for the parts, let us know if we can further assist. Thank You!Customer response

I bought a truck from them a week ago and have been having problems with it ever since I understand that I bought it as is but I took it to them twice and told them what was going on and they still let me drive it home saying I'd be fine and I would not break down and I did I am a mom of 4 and need a vehicle I just want them to help or give me something elseBusiness response

Hello, this customer was scheduled to come in on april 7th to have a door handle replaced, oil change and check on a issue with battery charging correctly, *********************** never showed up for her appointment on that day however she called two days later to say she was at a repair place that said " it might need a alternator or a spark plug and they wasnt sure" however she allowed this repair place to replace the alternator which was not even the problem, she then showed up for a newly made appointment for april 15th and we replaced the door handle, did a oil change and checked out the battery which showed low voltage and we replaced the battery which was the actual issue at no cost even thow the vehcile was sold as-is.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because: I bought a vehicle from them not even a year ago and now it's not even fixable and I need a vehicle I haven't even had it a year and their not willing to do anything because I called I know they have a vehicle for the same price I paid for the truck I just want a new vehicle from them I don't have to pay for i have children I'm not happy I will never buy from them again if I can't get it replaced

Hello, the vehicle we sold was a good vehicle when it was sold back in March of 2022, vehicle was sold as-is with no warranty expressed or implied, however we would be willing to check out the vehicle in question but will come with a cost to the customer on any repairs performed at time of diagnosis.
