            Brought my sons car in on December 2nd 2023 with a misfiring issue. We have a warranty program on the car so everything is covered. They diagnosed the car to have several engine leaks and bad gaskets and sent in a claim to the warranty for replacing the transmission so they would get enough money to fix the engine issues. There is no issue with the transmission. They had us sign a document that apparently says they already fixed the issue. We thought this was a document to move forward with the repair. They fixed a bunch of leaks and then found another issue after putting car back together. That was first week of January 2024. We discussed it and we told them to call the warranty company to get it covered. They never did. they kept asking me to buy the $1400 part and bring it to them. We have talked to the warranty company the they are even contacting the repair shop to get the part covered so they can fix the car. It is now February 14, 2024 and the car hasn't moved in 6 weeks and they have not called the warranty company back to get the part approved ordered and installed. They dodge my phone calls. They lie to us every time I actually talk to them. So they scammed the warranty company to get money and then not fix the car fully. its been 10 weeks since they have had our car that should have bee fixed in less than 4. Not sure when i will get the car back and if it will even be fixed. They need to be put out of business.

            on February 21st 2024 I had to have the car towed to another facility to get it fixed. it appears that A-1 Transmission and Auto Repair have closed for at least a few days as nobody is at the facility and no one is answering phone calls.
