To whom it may concern:This business in question, *******************************", had a person named, ***, come over to install a microwave(Wednesday May 3rd) that we recently purchased from them. It turns out, ***, proved to be every bit of his, NOT, being properly licensed and/or trained - needless to day, ill-equipped to do the job properly and safe The microwave is now blowing fuses every time we use it, due to improper install. ***, apparently did not care how he installed it, his main gaol was to throw it up and get paid! He wasn't properly equipped to handle this install job. He even had to go to Lowes to get a receptacle box(something I could have done) - I had to loan him a foot stool due to the fact he didn't posses one at the time. 1. The receptacle box was installed unstable/loose/crooked, and too close to the vent!2. The wire was way too short and should have never been connected to the receptacle box in the manner it was - it needed to be rewired. ***, decided to install in dangerous and rigged manner, opposed to doing the right thing, and telling me he wasn't licensed and/or equipped to handle this and part ways at that point.3. He did not even have thermal tape to re-seal the vent properly, so he left it all open. He attempted to re-use the tape that was previously there/torn in some incompetent fashion. ******************************, should NOT be sending people over that are NOT properly licensed to do electrical/install work. This is NOT right! IT did nothing but waste my time/money, and soon after, having to call a REAL electrician over to do this the correct and SAFE way! This is very dangerous and hazard to the house. ***, even ended up having to charge additional $30 more than promised for extra material involved. The job that was done here is just an absolute mess, and completely done wrong. I would like my $130 dollars paid back in full from ****************************** - They are responsible and need to step up and be accountable for this fiasco created!

    Better Business Bureau:

First off, I wasn't to thank "Decker and Sons", for stepping up to the **** and addressing this the ongoing problem that's been bothering me for quite some time. Being a customer there for several generations with various family members I was hoping they would make this right. I actually was not even sure if this complaint had gone through or possibly ignored its been so long since filed.  Im glad they formally reached out to me in regard to this unfortunately situtation/issue that transpired with one of three purchases we made from them in the last year. With that said, I find this to be an acceptable solution to this problem without a doubt.  If they would please like to send me me a check to make closure on this it Would be much appreciated. the current address here is still the same one as they delivered the three appliances recently purchased from, if they would like to mail a check, or I can stop in and pick up the refund if that would work better. Either way would work.  Thanks again for reaching out and reposting to this. Again, much appreciated!

    Sincerely,
