I purchased a vehicle from Choice Auto of Jackson in May 2022 . In the agreement it states that you have a warranty on your engine and transmission for the 36 month lease. August 2024 I was having problems with the engine. I took the car to choice Auto where to get the engine checked because I have the warranty . They assured me that the warranty was still active and it was in fact the engine. The ************* from choice auto said it was a problem with the engine and h*** have the warranty people come look at it . I sent over to choice auto my up keep on my oil changes and that I kept the car up to date. Now they are stating because I was short a quart of oil , the warranty is no good. The car still runs the engine is not locked up so the oil couldnt have been the problem. Ive been keeping up with the payment and the up keep. I feel as if they are trying to modify the warranty now that i need my engine fixed.

When ******** car came in, it was completely out of oil, not just a quart low. Because it was completely out of oil, her car had an engine bearing making noise. We put oil in it to see if it fixed the noise, but it did not. The oil change paperwork she submitted showed that at least twice she had gone more than ***** miles between oil changes. The industry standard is ***** miles. The warranty company does not cover repairs that are due to neglect of the vehicle. It was obvious that she ran the car out of oil, which caused the bearing to go bad. We are very sorry that she had a problem. We did everything we could to get the warranty company to cover it, but even they could tell that the problem was caused by lack of oil.

Choice auto sold me a horrible car, I took it to a mechanic and they said it shouldn't of left the dealership in that condition. The alignment was so bad a tire shop told me I could of died in that car, it was nothing but problem after problem, constant breakdowns, it wasn't even safe for my toddler to be in. The sunroof leaked there was electrical issues, and it was sold with multiple lights on the dashboard, like an airbag light.

When you bought this car in May 2021, it was in great working condition, with no safety concerns. All of our cars are inspected and repaired by certified mechanics before they are sold. We have been in business over 15 years and this is our standard practice with every vehicle sold. The car did not need an alignment when you bought it. We own a tire shop and we do alignments on all vehicles that need them.
Used cars are sold as-is. You were allowed to test drive the vehicle and have it inspected by your mechanic before you bought it. If the car was in terrible shape when you bought it, why did you buy it? The sun roof does not leak. We just check it again after all the rain we just had and it was dry. They only light that was on when you abandoned it at the credit union branch in Albion was a check engine light. This was due to the Catalytic converter being cut off (see below). There was not an airbag light on.
We are happy to service customers cars after they buy them because we know that used cars require more maintenance than new cars. We even offer customers a huge discount on labor rates. The only time we were notified by you of a service issue with the car was after ****** miles of you driving it. We repaired the power steering pump and wheel bearing for you and it was covered under your extended warranty with only a $100 deductible. At that time, we told you that your Catalytic converter was cut off. You told us that it was stolen while you were at a party store. You told Blue **************** however, that you cut it off and sold it for money. You also told the credit union you were going to scrap the car for money with a loan still on it, which is illegal. The car is legally owned by the credit union until you are paid in full on your loan.
Your issues with us started when you called a couple of months ago. You said you couldnt afford the car and wanted to give it back. You were told the loan program did not work that way and that you could not just return it. When you didnt get your way, you got nasty with the owner and hung up on him. You signed a legal contract with the credit union that you would be responsible for the car until it was paid off. You were told the nature of the loan when you bought the car.
We have caught you in multiple lies and illegal activity instead of taking responsibility for the purchase of your vehicle. You have even slandered us on social media. It doesnt matter how much you lie or deface us, you are still legally responsible for the loan on your vehicle per the contract you signed. You can take this up with our attorney if you would like to pursue this matter in court.
We are sorry that you were unable to afford this vehicle, but that is not our fault. You shouldn't have bought a vehicle you couldn't afford. The way you are handling this situation is irresponsible and inappropriate. If you would like to discuss this further, please have your attorney contact our attorney to set up a meeting.
