I purchased two kits for my cat's DNA test***. I received them but one was damaged, so I needed to contact them. I prefer phone contact, but there is no good number to be found. I emailed on a Sunday. While wait*** for an email, I came to BBB and discovered they have an F rat*** with several complaints. They take more time than anyone to process a sample. So I sent another email explain *** that I do not like to do business with companies I cannot contact by phone and that I was concerned about the length of time to process. I received an email response to my first one ask*** for the ** on the damaged kit, but that was it. No response to my second. I have emailed 4 additional times, ask*** for a refund for lack of contact and customer service. To date I still have no response and no refund. They have $168 of my money and will not respond to my repeated attempts. I initially just wanted to talk to someone about if process*** times were as advertised, but now I just want my money back. I believe the worst th*** a company can do is to just ignore someone try*** to contact them and get a response. It is disrespectful and not a way to treat customers. So ********************** gets this. I wish I had investigated them better before I purchased. But I have not sent the samples back due to the damaged kit. I wish this had turned out better, but now I just want my money. Thank you.

I purchased a test for my dogs DNA and health I paid $109 for the test which isn't cheap. But fell for the tiktok scam that the product is great. I recieved the test pretty quick. You register it on the website when you get it and send it back. It got returned to Basepaw on May 16, 2024 and says on the site processing as of May 20th. It did say it would be about a month for results June 13th-27th fine great giving me a timeline. The dates came and went. I sent an email a few weeks later asking for an update and got a generic response the lab backed up fine. Waited a few more weeks emailed again. Got another sorry for the inconvenience here a free item on us we are working diligently to get the results. Now going on almost 3 months since the test was returned and still no results. I asked for a refund they won't give me one and I feel like I got ripped off and I'm being strung along until the think I will get fed up and stop asking about it. It would cost me more in lawyer fees then it's worth to go to court for the mount of money it is unless multiple people are having issues they we might be able to have a settlement suit. But I advise don't get scammed.

I saw a promoted ad for Basepaws on Instagram for their cat DNA + health test that said it was on sale for what would normally be the regular selling price ($168.00) and then the regular price in the ad was listed at $318.00. There is absolutely NO WAY Basepaws is selling this test at $318.00 regularly EVER. Ive only ever seen it sell around $168 or cheaper. They are trying to get folks to think this is a good deal and buy it on sale when its really at market price. Im not sure if this is illegal in the state of ********* or not but it surely is unethical. I have a screenshot if you would like it.
