On June 17, 2022, I paid $425.00 for a Flushmate Cartridge 16 gal Kohler offset toilet to be installed. Michigan Plumbing installed the product. Starting in the Summer 2023 the toilet would not flush completely. In October 2023, Michigan Plumbing tech arrived to fix the problem. However, the Michigan Plumbing tech could not replicate the issue, so he took no action, charged me nothing, and left. The Michigan Plumbing technician indicated that the Flushmate III Cartridge manufacturer has an 800 number *************) and maybe they could provide some assistance. Upon calling the 800 number, I found out the cartridge had been recalled. Additionally, the cartridge was supposed to last up to 30 years. The representative indicated they would send a repair kit to me to fix the Flushmate cartridge or they would send me a new cartridge and charge me.On November 20, 2023, I called Michigan Plumbing again to get the issue resolved. When I spoke to the scheduler, I told her the issue and indicated that the cartridge should be repaired at no charge to me. The Michigan Plumbing scheduler stated that the technician would determine the charge. When the Michigan Plumbing technician arrived on November 21, 2023, I told him the toilet was not flushing completely. Further, I showed him the June 17, 2022 Michigan Plumbing invoice showing when the Flushmate cartridge was purchased and installed. I indicated that the repair kit should be installed at no charge because the cartridge is supposed to last 30 years. The Michigan Plumbing technican said he would not "install the repair kit" but he would install a new cartridge, not sure the cost. He left and my toilet still isn't fixed.I want Michigan Plumbing to fix my toilet since I spent $425 for a Flushmate cartridge that doesn't flush completely. Michigan Plumbing needs to stand behind the products they sell and install. I want this issue resolved within 30 days - at no cost to me.

    Good Evening,

We have reached out to ***** via the phone. I heard her concerns. I presented her with some options. We decided to schedule a technician to come out and look over her toilet and the cartridge situation on Tue Nov 28th in the afternoon between 12:00 -5PM. We committed to ensure she is satisfied with the outcome. I will come back to this site by Wednesday with the final outcome.

    Best regards,
