I'd give zero stars if possible. I was charged $2,001.49 to install two faucets and two appliances beneath the sink; a new "snap on disposal," we provided and our dishwasher, using the old hose. I provided ALL NECESSARY parts. ***** (the contractor) said we needed two drain traps and charged us $325.00 for them after running to *********** I think he took a $325.00 long, hour and a half lunch. These plastic traps cost between $5.00 and $10.00 each at **********. I went there and looked. We asked for the ********** receipt, but Mr. Rooter would not comply and send a copy. They will also not give the last name of their manager, who refuses to return calls and avoids picking up when I call. On 05/23, I was on hold for 19 minutes. Why not answer? Why not call back? ***** charged us $375.00 to "reconfigure" beneath the sink. That consisted of s******* in a sewer cap that costs $17.85 RETAIL on Amazon. I have "before and after" photos. There was NO OTHER RECONFIGURATION. $407.00 was charged to install each of two OLD faucets, using our hoses. We had the a third done by someone else last weekend and were also told by him we didn't need the $325.00 "traps" ***** said we needed. In a newer home like ours, you rinse them out and reuse them. ***** charged $416.51 to install a new "snap-on" disposal, we provided. Took under eight minutes. ***** told me he was a "supervisor" who was on commission and brought in millions. I bet! I am a 64 year old woman who knew little about plumbing (I know more now!) and had no water for six days. ***** knew it and took full advantage of me and I do plan on contacting the ************************* of ******** Protections about this case, as well. I will also go to the media, as I've read their reviews and I am not alone. All I did wrong was trust Mr. Rooter and ************** I can only hope that honest reviews like this (I have photos and receipts) will prevent the next person from getting abused like I did.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is a nationally recognized leader in the plumbing industry. Our customers rely on ********************** because our technicians are highly trained and we guarantee our work. Our policy is to give our customers up-front pricing before we begin any work. One should not rely on a third party to tell them, after the fact, that something should have been done or not as they did not see the condition of the plumbing beforehand; therefore, does not know the situation at hand. We are sorry that the customer feels she was overcharged, but we are well within the industry standard with our pricing.

I will never do business with this company.i paid $600.00 for two drains to be snaked. Only a 30 day guarantee. I feel that I was ripped off by them. I called Mr. Rooter company and asked about getting some of my money back. ****** stated they can't do that. Nobody gives a blank about being ripped off. Don't do business with them please.

Mr. Rooter Plumbing is a nationally recognized leader in the plumbing industry. When we serviced this home, we snaked two drain lines. The national average for this service is between $375 and $675. Mr. Rooter charged this customer $561.50. As a reputable company, that stands behind its work with a minimum 30-day warranty, we pride ourselves being well below the national high average price. Our customers are provided up-front pricing before any work begins. This customer was presented the estimate up-front and did not have to proceed with the work if she felt it was unreasonable.

Company agent worked hard for at least a hour: But, could not clear obstruction. Charged $ ****** for a job that would normally cost seventy to one hundred-twenty-five dollars for a successful attempt. After being threatened with Company policy procedures, I paid for the.failed attempt. Found out later that Company agent didn't bother to replace s**** cap on drain. My opinion was that I was taken advantage of as a senior citizen of 83 years of age.

As a former employee of this company there is alot I can say. Problems start all the way at the top. Owner and management of this company have driven it to be far from reputable. Owner has created an environment that has forced many employees to quit. He promises steady work yet, half of the week, techs sit at home. Being told that there is no jobs for the day. Which then forces techs to sell jobs at high cost so they can attempt to get a good paycheck. The general manager of this office, ****, was brought on with no plumbing experience at all. Which then lead to most of the techs either quitting or being fired for insubordination due to not agreeing with said management. This company is horrible. The fact that the owner still runs this franchise is a shame to strong company franchise that has been around for several years. It's only a matter of time before they run themselves right into ground.

This is a disgruntled former employee who is retaliating for being fired. We have undisputable proof that he had been stealing from the company for months and bragging about it to other co-workers.
