In October we purchased a couch and loveseat from Lazy Boy. Upon delivery we noted the loveseat cushions had several puckers on the back cushions and the fabric was pulling out from the threads at the seams. We contacted the store and spoke with the manager and was told we should contact a different phone number with the complaint. When the condition was explained, and replacement of the loveseat requested, we were told they did not replace defective items but rather attempted repair. A repair man was sent to inspect the loveseat and commented he would order the material for repair. After one errant delivery the material was delivered. The repairman came with a staple gun and did his thing, after almost two months from the original complaint. The results of the repair has left the loveseat with more puckers, only in different places, than the originals. The end results was not the fault of the repair man but the lack of the equipment to properly stretch the material such as would be found in the factory or original place of construction. I would caution anyone considering a Lazy Boy purchase to think twice. Any examination of the delivered goods should be done completely and before the delivery people leave so delivery can be refused, if that would even be to their benefit. Best advice, shop elsewhere.Review from Ja W

I ordered 2 power recliners. We received them and they are not the same chair we ordered. The ones we ordered were comfortable. These were like sitting on a hard board. The lumbar when pushed all the way back still took up over have of sitting area. So you set straight up like you had a steel rod in your back. Called within 18 hrs of getting them. No refund but a 20%restocking fee. I returned them to the store. Salesperson had me try the chair I purchased. It was very comfortable. Nothing like the one I received. Lumbar was back where it was suppose to be. Now Im stuck with a store credit and I dont want anything in this storeReview from Brian C

Used to be good main reason I went back spent 600 ea on 2 recliners didn't realize they don't use foam or hardwood anymore maybe because their made in ****** never again throwing one away already after a few years....sadReview from Douglas D

Bought 2 chairs a ****** and *******. Trouble with mine my recliner is jammed in upright sitting position .... i cant elevate legs for swelling and have 2 wait 2 weeks for ********** wifes chair reclines not smooth and wakes those sleeping with the snappy bang clunk noise when lowering chair. This is 11/1/24 lazyboy is delivering problems to customers ! NO QC NO PRODUCT TEST. No recline or chair repair 2 weeks.Review from Autumn S

Unfortunately, I have found myself writing basically the same things as several others, and truly wish i would have researched more before spending the money on their product. We've found very poor quality in our recliner that we recieved and terrible customer service to go along with it. It's been a several year process that they've promised to send a technician to my home to fix our recliner that makes the loudest creaking & squeaking, among other noises while being used. It was a fine chair for one month. It turned into a chair with a less than smooth rock that makes so many noises that my family begs me not to use when anyone else is present in the room. When I've called, they've agreed on the phone (from store **** to managers) that it is covered under warranty, that it should be fixed, but no one calls back. They promise to send someone out but no one shows up. It's been a truly miserable process. I hope that in ******* this it saves someone else the trouble we've been through. Purchased a large sectional, two chairs and a behind the couch bar table for our new house to the total of over $10K. The chairs and bar table arrived just fine and are really nice. The couch on the other hand came with a large stain on one of the cushions as well as a large rip or tear in one of the back cushions. We paid for the 5 year extended warranty and know things happen but wanted it for peace of mind and coverage. Well after 3 service techs coming out from their 3rd party service telling us what needed to be done and having ******** send material to be used to fix the areas we still don't have it fixed or even a solution. Their 3rd party service doesn't want to work and will make any excuse to not fix it on top of being very rude with one even refusing to take off his shoes. Them not wanting to work and ******** sending the wrong stuff has just prolonged this for months now. ******** customer service is TERRIBLE and that is putting it nicely. Every time I have called or my wife we get the same story from all of them. "I will run this up to my higher *** and will put you on hold while I contact them" Then after two minutes they come back and say their higher *** are busy and they will call me back, which they don't. Also they say their higher *** don't have a direct line which I find crazy in todays business world. This has happened 4 times now with no resolution. I have told them every time I just want a new couch and no more service techs. I had heard good things about them in the past but this has been the worst experience ever and its sad because lower quality furniture places have better service then this and you pay have the price.Review from Shannon B

Lazy boy was always a staple for my parents and I thought it would be for me too but after I spent a ton of money on a chair only for it to break 2 days after I bought it then I had to wait almost a year for repair. Now here I am less than a year later with not only the same broken part but it will no longer do anything it is stuck with the foot rest up. Their solution is to send me a part for me to do it myself in order to cut down on wait times. How preposterous. I work 6 days a week 10 hour days and I dont have the time or energy to do that. I would give negative stars if I could.Review from Paul J

If I could give a negative star rating I would! Manager never spoke with me, always had another person speak to me. Very disappointed, was told 6-8 weeks on a recliner. Was never contacted about delivery date and when I called after 6 weeks was told it would take 3 more months. No explanation was given and no attempt was made to figure out the reason for the delay. This was terrible customer service all the way around, from being reassured about an erroneous delivery date, not being contacted after 6 weeks passed,and no attempt to figure out the reason for a five month wait time. This treatment is not something I expect from ********* extremely disappointed and I recommend taking your business elsewhere.Update, after months and months of being delayed by ********* order began 7 months ago, Im done. I was told 3 weeks ago that the chair was ready for delivery, after being damaged upon delivery the first time, through an automated service. I had to call 3 additional times, only to find out there was now an issue with financing due to the problems and the time it has taken to get the chair. No one called me with updates. They told me I would have to come in to **** the financing. The financing company still has my down payment funds credited to the account. I have decided to cancel the order because of the terrible customer service, hopefully my down payment will be reimbursed. I am going to now have to spend more time contacting the finance company. Purchased two recliners about 6 years ago from the ******, **, ****** store. The material is peeling off on both backs at the top as well as the joins where the fabric is stretched over the frame. Both chairs look really ugly. Leather should never wear this way, it is actually peeling off. We were told only the seat is leather and the rest of chair is vinyl . We have contacted lazy boy customer service numerous times over this time and got no satisfaction at all. The material is inferior. We would never recommend Lazy Boy to any of our friends and will never make a purchase from Lazy Boy again. We are so disappointed.***** and *****************************************La-Z-Boy Inc. Covers used on our products are warranted for one-year from the date of delivery. We manufacture with a variety of cloth materials and various leathers. Pertaining to the leather products, there are full leather units which are leather throughout the product, either all top grain leather throughout or top grain leather and leather split on outside areas of the product. There are also leather and vinyl covers which are leather anywhere that touches the body and vinyl on the outside edges of the product and outside backs.
With the product being six years old and outside our one-year warranty, the best recommendation would be to contact a local upholsterer for further assistance. Thank you for your feedback.
