03/01/23 my fathers room was started to be painted in this nursing home, he informed me this 03/02/23 and is still residing in his room with wet paint and fumes. His room is half painted & sleeping in it. This cannot be good-it isn't healthy for anyone.

Account number at the ********************** was: ****** regarding my dad, *******************************. Several previous complaints & filed with state of ********. Dad was in their care from mid June 2021-end of July 2021. He was taken by ambulance to local hospital without contacting us or anyone else. He was positive for ************ did not notify the hospital. His feet were infected from their poor care. He was placed in Hospice & transferred to another care center where he died on 8/4/2021. Many unresolved ****************** of Michigan determined we did not have proof for most issues. Statement from ******** states nothing is owed to the Chalet of Niles. Late Saturday, 4/23/2022 I received a **** of $2422.30 from the Chalet of Niles with no documentation of reason for the **** nor date for billed service. I tried to call today & ask about it but only able to talk with ***** who answered the phone & took my name, phone number & the account number on the ****. I was told ******* would call back. She never did. That is a repeated complaint we had before & told no proof we called. I do NOT recommend any patient be under their care for any reason. We took clothes for my Dad while he was there, but they disappeared. We provided a receipt for our purchases and they denied received & denied reimbursement. No returned phone calls as their past history.
