    I contracted with HBS in October 2023 for a remodel of my kitchen and master bath. They finally started the demolition on May 13, 2024 and very little has been done since then. It's been 5 full weeks and I still don't have a kitchen or bath. The workers show up maybe once or twice a week for a couple of hours. I have complained about the lack of progress for the $50k I have already paid them and I can't get any resolution from them. I only have one shower in my home which has been torn out for 5 full weeks. This company is not responsive to my emails. They have ignored them this week completely. They installed two different tiles on the bathroom walls which is not what I picked out. I have sent them emails and pictures of what I picked out and have gotten no response from them. I am at wits end. I have invested a lot of money in this project and have nothing to show for it except a demolished kitchen and bathroom. I need some assistance in getting my remodel completed. Please help me!

    I am sorry to hear ******* frustration. Thank you for the opportunity to respond. 

    We starting the project on Monday that was scheduled confirmed day. Typical start with delivering equipment, materials and dust control for the demo of kitchen and upper bathroom. Project managed by my older son, office manager is my wife, customer service agent sister-in-law and project expediter my youngest son. We use a computer management system which allows client full access to their project. Access to schedule, job specifications and communication (text and push to email). This is a great tool for communication, ******* had some problems getting messages out to myself and staff. I notified BuilderTrend regarding and they did a re-set on the system and I am now getting her messages. The third week into the project my mother passed away. We notified client (*******) the passing of my mother and I would be taking time off along with my two sons, wife and sister in law again they all work at Home Building Solutions. We notify all are clients that were in production that we were going to be taking time off.  (funeral armaments and memorial).  During the time we took off I had my lead ************************* A  answering questions and was available. We did work on the bathroom in preparation for the tile seters to start the tile.
    My team is now back to work and is expediting ******* project.
