            I had taken my 2018 ********** outlander to muffler man on Centre Street to have my breaks replaced. When I got my car back I should have done a full inspection of it. I got the car back on Wednesday 1/31. I only drove to work twice and back home since. When I got to work today I noticed my passenger side mirror had been damaged. It looks as though when pulling out it hit the back side of the mirror and broke the plastic off. When I called to talk with someone about it they told me they were honest and had not done it. They dont have cameras on the property so they couldnt prove that. I have cameras on my work property and found no plastic in my driveway. Im more upset that I know it happened at the shop and they just dont want to have to cover or pay for it.

             To whom it may concern:

             

             we do not have door openers at our shop, that means someone must open the door when a

            vehicle is moved in or out of the shop. This gives two people the opportunity to watch for both safety

            and alignment on the lift, our lifts are all heavy duty for light trucks and utility vehicles so they are

            larger and wider than typical automotive lifts, we also have protocol in place to address any and all

            incidents to assure our customers of competent care has been taken for the safety and repair of their

            vehicles.  If any damage occurs we contact the owner and make appropriate arrangements.
