We hired Great Lakes Pleasure Pools in April to install a new liner in an in ground pool. The quote was in line with other pool companies that we researched. We liked that they were able to install the liner within a few weeks. We paid half up front and the other half the day the liner was installed. After the liner was installed we noticed wrinkles in the bottom of the pool. We call Kevin Bi, the owner of Great Lakes. We were told that someone would be out to look at and fix the wrinkles within the week. A week passed and no word from Kevin. Both my husband and I repeatedly tried to call and we either were sent to voicemail or the voicemail box was full. Eventually, my husband did get in touch with Kevin and we were told that he really did not have time to come fix the liner and that we were "acting like we were stabbed when really we were just scratched". We could not believe the rudeness of this comment. Needless to say we did not stop reaching out to Kevin. Two months after our liner was installed, not only had the wrinkles not been fixed, but now the liner was coming out of the track around the top of the pool. Luckily, I still had the installers number in my phone and I reached out to him. Rickie replied to my text that day and was out to my house within 3 days. The only communication I received from Kevin was a text message saying that he was on vacation and that I should not reach out to him. Kevin did accidentally call me and I heard an entire, inappropriate conversation that he was having with another person. I would never recommend this company to anyone. The lack of customer service and the total disrespect for paying customers was appalling. The only reason I feel I give it one star is for Rickie and his wife. I highly caution anyone thinking of hiring Great Lakes Pleasure Pools.

Met Kevin at the Porter County Fair. We were nervous about using him to install our new in ground pool liner due to reading some poor reviews and the company not being a local company. This was the only company that would convert our low hung Polynesian pool liner to a full liner. Kevin came to the house and thoroughly measured for the new liner. The new liner was supposed to come in & be installed in mid-October but came in early and was installed early. Rickie & Vanessa installed the liner and were very courteous & competent. They did an amazing job! We are very pleased with the communication with Kevin, and Rickie. We had a lot of questions because were nervous and had no knowledge of the process, they always answered or returned our calls timely. It's unfortunate that more people do not take the time to write a positive review, this is their livelihood. We now know why this company has been in business for over 50 years. Very impressed and recommend them.

I have known *********************** with Great lakes Pleasure Pools for almost 20 years, I have listened to so many people talk so bad about him that I find it very hard to back up anything good I have to say right now but when I speak which is not very often it's the truth!! My name is ***************************** I would like everyone to know that ***** is a very good hearted man and treats all his employees as if they were family, so when he hires a person that bad mouths him or his coworkers to the point that it ruins their reputation that's when I feel it's nessesary to step in and defend myself..those of you that have heard that **** an recent employee has said that certain employees are meth heads or that they are pedophiles or thieves I am going to make the comment right now that this is in no way true about any of the employees that work with him right now and please do not base your opinions on what people say about others and please base it on your own personal experience, no we cannot make everyone happy but we can very well try and for those that try to dim the light of others because their own lives are built in darkness,lies and unhappiness well that just shows the true destructive nature of who you are not just as a person in general but as an employee..for you to go and make a comment about peoples personal lives even though it's not true it's still embarrassing, for you to sabotage jobs on purpose just to ruin the jobs that we have worked so hard on to show that great lakes Pleasure Pools is not some half ***** business is disgusting and you should never be allowed to work in this state ..this makes you a person a menace to society
