  I opened a savings account with UIF recently I am already their customer for time deposit . After attending the webinar on savings account I decided to open one it was nightmare experience from the start I was directed to open the account in the app without any support I went ahead and did that and at the end was not able to download agreement and disclosures as I was clicking on download and save, nothing was happening I sent an email to UIF as calling them at the number ending in 8500 does not do much at all no one responds. Then I contacted the point person at UIF that did not do much at all when you call the point person she was not of much help.Now I proceeded to the step of initial funding when the wire information was shared I realized that its different from time deposit so I sent an email to inquire about the difference never heard back so I went ahead and did a test deposit as wires are final so did not want to end up sending wire at a wrong place, after my test deposit was successful by the way during this time there was no communication from UIF I went ahead and wired money after doing that I noticed there is a charge for wire transfer I inquired about it and was told that its stated in disclosures and I mentioned I never was able to get agreement and disclosures even though I asked for them. I asked that I was never charged for my wire before and I asked them to refund my incoming wire charges they mentioned that we dont charge for first wire and we do charge afterwards I explained them why I did the test deposit and would like them to refund the incoming wire transfer fee also mentioned that I still do not have the disclosures and agreement. They did not refund the wire transfer fee and stubborn about not refunding and did not send me a copy of agreement and disclosures I want refund of my wire transfer fees, copy of my agreement and disclosures and a different point person to communicate with than the one who is not of much help and at times rude.
