I was in an auto accident on 9/20. My car was totalled and towed to McClains. I called the next day to find out if there was any hurry in me getting my car out of there because I assumed there was a charge per day. I was told that there was no hurry. When I went to remove my car a week later I was told I owed $850. $500 for storage. When I reminded her that I had asked if I was incurring charges for leaving it there she responded that she must have thought I had full coverage. I had already told her I didn't but apparently if I had full coverage then they could charge the insurance company more? Even though she admitted she had misinformed me they refused to remove any of the charges and were going to continue to charge me $50 a day until I came up with the money. I had talked to them numerous times and been out to get stuff out of my car but they never said anything about what I was going to owe or the daily charges I was incurring. When I asked why I wasn't informed she just said that we don't tell people.

This ***** CRV was brought in from an accident on 9/20/2022. Every police call received takes priority. ************ police department sets there owns rates for every tow company that tows for them.  *****, came in to get her vehicle and did not know that us towing her vehicle and storing it at our facility was being charged. This service is not free by us nor ANY tow company. *****, then called her insurance agent and put him on speaker. He could not tell me weather they were going to cover her fees due to the fact she had fallen asleep and was at fault. I told ***** her options on leaving the vehicle here and she chose to sell this vehicle to *********************** for $450.00 and wanted to pay the additional $400.00 owed on 9/29/2022. We are still waiting on Wispering oaks to pick this vehicle up from us. We do not get personal information from the police department on owners of any vehicles towed in.

I am rejecting this response because: I specifically called and asked if I was running up a bigger bill by leaving the car for a few more days and was told that I was not. I was told that there was no hurry at all getting my vehicle out of there.

    Sincerely,
