Flagstar has locked me out of my checking account for over a month now this happened around December 9 2024. I try to send a wire transfer to my cash app account from my checking account and they flagged it as fraud. They told me I needed to send a document or statement with the bank name and account to show that the account is mines that I try to send the wire to. Which is ***************** that Cashapp uses. I sent the statement after I was told to and I still haven't heard from Flagstar Bank I been calling every week since to get my account back open and talking to customer service but all they say is they will email the message to the online banking department for them to get back to me but they have not reached out or try to contact me as of yet. I even emailed a second statement where they have already verified the account to get wire transfers from them. Can you please help solve this situation I'm not able to get money out or pay bills and it's been over a month since this has happen. They ruined the holiday day season for me and now it's going into the new year with no response from them at all.

Six years ago our property required a seawall replacement costing about $23,****** the time we directly funded some of it and acquired a loan from Flagstar Bank to finance the rest. Then over a few following years that LOAN WAS PAID OFF WITH INTEREST IN ITS ENTIRETY LEAVING ZERO BALANCE.And I thought that was the end of it.But now, without previous notice, when closing my other Flagstar accounts I see that this bank is billing $100 for "maintaining" that zero balance account. This is outrageous, charging that hefty amount for essentially no services provided and I feel no moral obligation to pay it.

Flagstar bank paid out almost $40,000 in taxes for my property. They paid taxes three times and did not do a mortgage audit for over a year and I was not informed that they paid out these taxes. I went to pay my mortgage and realized that my mortgage went up $6,100. My mortgage went from $3964 to $10000. I reached out to the bank to find out what happened and thats when they are informing me of the tax issue and told me that I should have read the information on my statement and I would have known. I informed them that I was not able to pay that much money. They did an audit and resent a different amount of $6800. I told them that I still could not afford that. They said they would spread the payment of 24 months and they would not spread it out anymore. If I could not afford to pay I can sign up for some hardship to see if I qualify and if I did not qualify then they would report any late payment to the credit bureau and after 90 days start foreclosure on the property. I gathered the extra $3000 because I did not want to lose my home. They were suppose to post the payment on 8/16/24. No payment posted to my account then they called me to inform me that my mortgage was late and they would report it to the credit bureau if it was not pay by the 30 day ***** I paid the mortgage over the phone. Then they informed me there was a $400 plus payment for late fee. I informed that that I paid it on time and even their system stated that. They told me I needed proof the funds were available so I sent my bank statement showing no payment posted. They inform me that I still had to pay the late fee because my banking institution not releasing the fund had nothing to do with them. My bank did not receive anything from flagstar and my bank statement proves that and they are still attempting to charge me a late fee after raising my mortgage by $3000. And refusing to accept the proof which is my bank statement which they requested.

Something is definitely not adding up here so I called them and they told me to call cook county assessor off and so I did just that and they told me that my taxes didnt go up and it wouldnt make my mortgage payment go that high!! Just ridiculous and someone is definitely not doing their job properly!! I went in to make my mortgage payment online and my payment tripled!! They definitely better get my account corrected because its definitely some sort of an error!!

We are trying to get answers on questions about assuming our loan with the sale of our house. When we call we are told we have to contact the assumptions department and that it takes 4 days for a response. We did this and they called back after about 2 weeks and left a message to call. When we called we were told again we have to contact them. We are getting run around in circles and when we asked to talk to a supervisor, they hung up on us.

Well ever since they merged with whatever banks they are terrible now. The service down to the silly games Flagstar plays is ridiculous. The major problem now has been going on for over 6 months and it involves Apple transactions online. **************** said it was my card, so I went into the branch on Garfield to order a new card and have ti sent to the branch. I get my new card and still a problem now they say it was apparently somehow the card was reading some address that is nothing what it should is all they would tell me. So she orders a new card and send it to the branch. She calls me a weak later and says the card is in (nothing else). I come in probably a weak later unknowingly they close the card if you don't come in 24 hours. Id say this is a piece of very important information. In the meantime my account is negative and I already signed a piece of paper for NO overdraft fees. Apparently the account is closed within a 30 day time period with ZERO phone calls to me, no texts, emails notihing!!! What kind of bank does any of this? Still today I have no phone calls asking me for money and now you closed my business account with checks and everything!!!!!!!!! Never in my life have I had someone just close something and never ask for a dollar or a phone call? This is only the biggest problem, not all of them.

I am building a home on gifted property from my grandparents. They have an existing mortgage so lean on that property so were working on partial release of mortgage from Flagstar. They have had my paperwork for almost 10 weeks now and continue to tell me that they are busy and will get to it when they can. The department for this has an email account but no phone number in order to talk to someone. I get generic emails whenever I email. This has been the most disappointing process imaginable, I need answers so that I can get my own mortgage loan and finish building my dream home. Looking for any help I can get.

I have recently been moved to Flagstar from Rocket mortgage. I have never had an issue with making payments while with ******. Since moving to Flagstar I have found it nearly impossible to make my payments. The issue with Flagstar and *********** not cooperating with each other is not my responsibility. I have now changed banks that I make my payments through and now they want to charge me additional fees. I have spent over 8 hours on the phone trying to give them my money only to be charged extra. Flagstar is subpar and I wish I could move to a different company but I am held captive. They have all of this in their records. I have had their agents even give me wrong information to make payments work. I can't waste anymore of my time on this. This is THEIR issue.

I carry two savings accounts with this bank. I've moved to a different city and have requested to close and receive a cashiers check for my funds. I was able to close my account and did receive a cashiers check for the first account, but they refuse to close the second account unless I am in person in their bank, a 3 hour drive.
