My recent experience with ****************** was disappointing. '*****' is unprofessional, and does not provide clients with much time or consideration when it comes to appraisals or general social graces. Our appt started off with him making off color comments about the fact my husband and I were getting separated. Well intention or not, what made it extremely uncomfortable was he kept going on about it, even though we both obviously upset by it. Unprofessional comments aside, ****************** spent a total of 16 mins "assessing" my home arriving at 11:09 and was back to his car by 11:25. He stood in one spot in most rooms and snapped photos, not looking at anything in detail. Due to the nature of why we requested the appraisal, we want it to thorough and detail report. I had asked about some significant damages/issue that we thought might effect the value that we wanted included. He didn't address these issues while on site. I reached out a few times after since I wasn't getting a response and I was treated as an inconvenience. He later responded via email essentially summing up he was not a contractor, those thing were not that "noticeable" and if these issue were that bad to get estimates and remove that from the value, which defeated the reason why we wanted the appraisal. I don't think these issue were just normal/unnoticeable(a few example pictures below ), if they didn't affect value an explanation would of been welcomed. Although I appreciate that ****************** is not a contractor, I thought his abilities as an appraiser would be able to assess the property as-is considering these issues, such as multiple plumbing piping to be replaced, cracking in driveway/foundation that is actually causing water damage and similar issues, to provide an accurate appraisal for our home. I understand it's a busy time but the lack of response, to even acknowledge my messages were received after the appt, just solidified my opinion on the level of professionalism of his office
