Everything happened on Thursday 10/24/2024 and Friday 10/25/2024. My semi's radiator was leaking enough it needed replaced. I talked to N and J they said I would need to drive to their shop and they would be able to have it done by Friday. I get to N and J's shop. N and J doesn't have any employee that can go get the radiator that's at D and B radiator in ************, MI 3 hrs away. There is also no one that can bring the radiator from D and B radiator in ************, **. I was told by ***** of N and J I could use a vehicle to go get the Radiator in ************, **. I was told by ***** of N and J the radiator would be outside waiting for me to pickup it up since it would be well after D and B closed when I would get there. I had my dog in my semi because I was only supposed to be gone for no more than 7hrs. The radiator wasn't sitting out and I had to stay in the vehicle at D and B overnight in the parking lot from 9pm to 6:30am. The invoice from D and B said $1,295 for the radiator. I got the radiator back on Friday 10/25/2024 at 10am. N and J worked on the semi for 6 hrs. I was in the semi the entire time they were working on it. N and J charged for 10 hrs of work. Also upcharged the radiator when they didn't pay for anyone to deliver it or pick it up. I paid all the gas to get the radiator and bring it back. N and J also charged for a car rental fee. I didn't sign any rental agreement and nothing was said about renting a vehicle. N and J charged $3,882.36. N and J charged $1,750 for the radiator. $1,500 for 10 hrs of labor. $150 car rental fee. N and J also charged $55 for hose clamps that they could have reused the ones I had. I don't know what the $20 in shop fee was. That's not the antifreeze because they have that on the bill separate. N and J just added as much charges as possible. The job was book time at only 6 hrs our head mechanic says at our shop.
