I bought an auger attachment and used it 4 times and the auger rod bent coming out of the gear box. Skid pro would not warranty it……. Terrible customer service!!!! I would definitely not buy from them!!!! They lost thousands in new sales from me!!!!

Originally the worker/operator (**** not *******) called in since he was the one out in the field operating the auger. He called in for parts cost to fix and said they noticed right away when it got bent. He didnt ask anything about warranty until the very end. Our **************** said he didnt know if this would qualify due to it being a force failure in a way the auger was not designed to operate. Customer said I didnt think it would be covered. **** wasnt upset and so the conversation ended. Then the original purchaser of the product (*******) got involved a couple days later, calling in upset we wouldnt cover under warranty. There was no additional information given or explanation of what could have caused the force failure, rather he was just upset it wasnt covered. I can understand that ******* was upset, and empathize w/ the situation, but he wasnt even in the field when it happened, and again gave no further reasons for the failure or why it should have been covered. We do understand the need to have a margin of error built into the equipment to handle unexpected situations in the field and/or unintended forces that can accidentally or unintentionally arise, and we do this on all our attachments to varying degrees, but in over 10 years utilizing this same design, and tens of thousands of auger drives in use across lots of different soil types in the US, this is a product failure we've never seen before. We do greatly care about our customers but also cannot be a viable business if we cover every improper use under warranty. However, we have offered to fix ******** auger below our cost, and are still hoping to reach a resolution with him shortly.

I have the SkidPro stump bucket with grapple and I have a HF double auger snowblower that should be moving down the assembly line any day. The stump bucket with grapple has been a real time saver, built like a tank and extremely useful. I expect nothing less from their snow blower. Also, I’ve been to their office building in Alexandria, MN, to meet my salesman, Drew, and drop off a check. Extremely nice folks in the office. The place looks as nice as the equipment!!! First class all around.

Hey *****, thanks for the kind words! Yes, the ***** bucket w/ grapple is one of my favorite attachments we make and I put it to use frequently on my farm place. I swear I've dug out boulders so big that our Kubota SVL95-2 could barely lift them! Not to mention all of the trees I've removed, root ball and all. And yes, if you like the ***** bucket, you will love the 2x auger HF snow blower...it's a BEAST!

Great company to deal with. I had a self inflicted issue with my skid pro brush cutter. I called Dan my salesman and to my surprise he not only answered but was very patient as I explained my problem and also offered great advice. I had to call a second time and received the same same great customer service. I am also very happy with the brush cutter and the way my Bobcat handles the X4 industrial cutter. I purchased a HD3 brush cutter from Todd over at Skidpro Attachments. I have owned my landscape company for over 30 years and a skidsteer for over 25 years, but new nothing about the brush cutters. It was nice to work with Todd and Cory at Skidpro, because I never got the feeling that any question I asked was ever stupid. I went back and forth for They were so helpful and then when I received my HD3 brush cutter I was even more impressed! We have all worked with a salesman that knew their equipment was the best on the market, whether it was or not, and they give you the take it or leave it sales pitch. With the Skidpro guys I always felt they were on my side and wanting me to buy the best piece of equipment for me. One last thing I do believe Skidpro does have the best brush cutter on the market & for the best price! A rare find these days with the most helpful sales people to boot??????. In this day and age of shopping cart online purchases with low to no (usually no) active customer support....we want to be different.Anyone can build a good product for a fair price (though this too is becoming increasingly rare), but it is truly difficult (and different) to deliver customer service that your grandfather could appreciate. I got a chance to work the Skid Steer Blower on 2+’ feet of Heavy Wet Dense snow. The blower matched to the Bobcat T550 preformed remarkably! Other tractor and commercial sidewalk blowers, working in the area, had numerous blower and shoot freeze up blockages. The Skid Pro really shined. I was pressing it to the max and the blower preformed well in the worst of conditions. Much more wet snow in the forecast and I’m expecting the best. Our 3 mile long road has run out of plow space, so the blower is a real blessing. Thanks for making such a great product, which has preformed well in the worst conditions! **** - Wow, what a great review! In some ways, I think the most impressive thing wasn't even mentioned...and that is your Bobcat is not high flow, and comes in at a relatively standard flow and pressure these days...17 gpm & ***** psi. Snow blowers were our first attachment and still one of our favorites. We're glad you like it and have had such great luck w/ it in some really tough conditions. Thanks again for the note!
