They were thorough in assessing and completing the necessary work. They kept us informed at each step of the restoration. The workers were professional and did an excellent job. All work was done in a timely manner.

Absolutely the worst company to have for repairing water damage in our home! We had water damage from an upstairs bathroom toilet over flowing for more than 4 hours on December 14th 2023 We had water damage to all three floors in our house including upstairs bathroom, kitchen and basement laundry room. This company was recommended by our insurance company as they had done a couple smaller reconstructions for other claims. The original mitigation team came in and tried to dry out the house . They placed high powered heaters to the biggest affected areas in the upstairs bathroom, the hallway upstairs and in the main floor bathroom and in the kitchen ceiling and cupboards. After running the heaters for about 5 days our troubles started. The heater facing upwards in the main floor bathroom to dry our the subfloor in the upstairs bathroom ended up melting the wax seal of the toilet in the upstairs bathroom and all the seals on the PVC pipes for the plumbing in that bathroom. Mitigation team also removed all the cupboards on the outside wall of the kitchen including the sink, garbage disposal, counter tops, and faucet . The team was supposed to keep all removed items at the 24 Restore warehouse, however the warehouse had no record of those items ever reaching the warehouse. The company then tried to (in my opinion) commit insurance fraud by either substantially over charging or trying to get insurance to pay for items that were “missing” Most of the jobs they did had to be done two or more times. Shortages in most of the ordering done leaving us with out a kitchen for over 9 months and no bathroom shower or tub for 18 weeks 4 project managers! Very poor business model, no communication or returned phone calls, because we complained we waited for every single step for weeks at a time. The outside contractors all commented on how bad this company was which I thought unusual. It was was absolutely the worst experience of my life

Please read all the previous reviews and determine for yourself. They are either really good or really bad. I won’t go into details from our experience because every situation is different but our experience was unfortunately not a good one. We had a house fire and initially started out with these people since we didn’t know who to call. The fire department called them out to do our board up and the sales pitch began from there. We were promised that we will only pay our deductible and that our insurance will pay for everything and not to worry. Even if the insurance doesn’t pay 24 restore will make them pay. Unfortunately this promise was not held up. Either way we stopped all services from them after mitigation due to our insurance and 24 restore finance director couldn’t get the numbers to work. Short story we were forced to pay or see them in court. If you have a disaster such as a fire or a big loss. I would steer clear of these guys. If you are reading this and have suffered a fire loss. Please don’t sign any of there contracts until you have read those contracts in detail. They design there contracts to win in court in the event the insurance doesn’t pay out on there fee schedule. Guess who pays, yes the homeowners. They are always glad to remind you of this after you sign the contract of course. If you have signed contract please review it thoroughly and best of luck. If you have read this far I wish you the best on your journey. If you suffered a big loss such as a fire loss, I know it’s take an emotional and mental toll on yourself and your family but details matter at these crucial times. This is where companies like this one will take advantage of you at a vulnerable state. Being a victim to fire or any disaster is tough enough don’t be victimize twice by this company.

This company is so bad do not hire them period

Our experience has unfortunately been fraught with miscommunication,padded charges in billing and threats. The staff including office, labor, management, and accounting are argumentative and underhanded. The phone rollover excuse was pretty consistent. The project manager did not observe the labor, accept responsibility for either damage or mistakes nor follow through on communication. The work would get scheduled and paid only to have last minute communication changing everything. I withdrew the lockbox portion of the agreement after leaving the home open for 3 months in which time NO WORK was scheduled or completed. Our insurance living expenses were exhausted and we had to move back into a complete demo zone. The only work complete was a very poor tile job by a very angry tile subcontractor.that sent our HOA through the roof for his cursing out the 24 Restore over the phone. My husband and I cleaned, reset appliances, and scheduled the cabinet guy, countertops and other work. The demo team screwed plastic sheeting to our ceiling and walls and 24 Restore refused to repair until I asked our insurance to dispose of their check. Even then the "work" was a vinyl patching but no sanding and painting. The company works by manipulating consumers to sign over the check insurance check in it's entirety although the contract says 50% down 50 upon completion. Thankfully I stood my ground and was able to renegotiate the contract and 9 months later I have the 50 percent of completion in savings awaiting court proceedings. The accountant department is more than happy to threaten to take you to court and the bully tactics work more often not. I am so thankful for the power of prayer for that is the only than reason we caught the manipulation when we did. Don't fall for the bullying, get some support and proceed with litigation. Whatever you do keep every text, email and letter.
