I've bought many cars over the years and this was the worst experience I've had. I went to Walser Subaru in Burnsville, MN and inspected a 2024 Crosstrek. I worked with Jeff S. an account executive. Later the evening of Oct. 21st, 2024 I emailed Jeff to express my interest in the car and scheduled a test drive for the following day. We emailed back and forth, he offered to let me have the car as a 'no charge rental' so I thought it wouldn't be sold from under me. In a later email he also offered that if I wanted to buy the car we could start the paperwork and hold my check for a few days until my check cleared. This was because another party was purchasing my car so the deal did have some moving parts, but this certainly shouldn't cause any issue for a quality dealership. Every email made it sound like we had a deal so after the last email I called to have funds moved for the purchase. Somewhat later, I received another email that the car had been sold the same night I inspected the car. We had spent nearly an hour emailing back and forth cementing the details of this sale and he had not bothered to see if the car was still in stock. He wasted my time and my efforts to obtain the funding for the purchase. I asked for Jeff S. to forward my emails to his manager and I asked for that person to contact me. Not surprisingly, I have had no message on my phone or email regarding this. I have no idea if he even sent it on or this was a continued sloppiness of the organization. I gave them nearly 9 hours to respond to me and find a way to make this right. Jeff S. did send me two offers on other Crosstrek's, one was for a car with less features, the other was a much higher price. On the back of Jeff S's business card it shows a core value: "Do the right thing" and under it is says "nothing is worth compromising a relationship". Well, it seems that is just Walser Subaru of Burnsville lip service and isn't worth the ink it cost to print it on the business card.

Impossible to get a hold of them and for them to return calls. Started a couple years a go when we bought our vehicle. They worked on the brakes prior to us purchasing the vehicle and did not do a good job. They ruined the boot to the caliper and we lost brakes. I tried to reach out to multiple people and managers with no return phone calls. We eventually ended up fixing the brakes locally because we lived a couple hours from their location. Fast forward to November of 2022 my wife gets into a major car accident and van is totaled. The loan holder contacted me telling me that they can not get a hold of walser Subaru to get the refund for the warranty stuff we paid extra for and we are owed money. I tried calling and leaving multiple messages. I was finally able to talk to Seamus * ***** and he sent me an email telling me to send him a copy of the Auto loan payoff. After sending that to him 6 minutes later I have yet to hear back from them or anyone through email or calling.
