Absolutely horrible experience! You have to schedule multiple appointments to get anywhere with them and when you ask for any ************** you are treated as though you are a drug seeker. I had a quick procedure performed and paid what I thought I owed but they disagreed and sent me a bill. I called the number on my bill to get an explanation but was hung up on by the call center twice! I checked my portal account and saw that I had a $0 balance, so I assumed everything was good to go (by the way, my payment history with them is perfect, so no need to assume that I wouldn't pay my bill). Since my account became delinquent, they sent me to collections!!! No curtesy phone call to let me know that I have an outstanding balance and that they would send to collections if I did not call them back. The *** on the phone even said that their call center is terrible; so why won't they fix it!!? This is very shady business practices and really illustrates why the *** Medical Debt Fairness Act" was passed. I will be encouraging anyone I meet to file a formal complaint against Nura if they mention they had a bad experience because management simply does not care and needs the law to come crashing down on them to make any meaningful changes.

Same review I posted to ****** reviews. People need to know."Disappointed. I called asking about one of their nerve block services listed on their site. I was told "You can't just come in for that, you can only come in for pain". I explained how this is offered on the site and directly related to chronic pain and problems. "Well I guess so" was her reply. Upon getting an appointment made, I am called a day before and told I need to talk about some issues before the appointment. I asked if this can be dealt with during the appointment instead, she reluctantly said yes with a BUT then asked about things that have nothing to do with my appointment, the treatment I am seeking.I arrived for my appointment today on time, parking was a nightmare, got in, waited in line, told to come to a person at the desk. It was ten minutes after my appointment by this time and she said "Well you are SO LATE I will have to ask if they even want you now" As I stood there for a few minutes she looked at me and said rudely "You can go over there, I don't know how long this will take". A short while went by and she came to me and said "You are just too late so we won't see you as a new patient, you want to reschedule?".This was handled poorly and I am very disappointed.***UPDATE***I keep getting emails saying "new message in your portal account" to find out there is no message. I also got a letter today explaining the consequences of being a "NO SHOW" and I have 1 strike against me. This place is a joke."

9/10/22 In addition to below review, I concur with other experience reviews entered here.Never in 70 years have I been so poorly treated. $$$...a nurse practioner would call me WITHOUT me requesting a call and I was charged a copay. If you still want to try going there..request copies of ALL your medical records including tests done. I have proof something was changed. Spinal Cord Stimulator? Day one it was their plan. I refused 2 months in a row and for the Stimulator and a oral methadone, was called an addict(she later denied saying it) Nurse practioner told me they cannot do anything about Pain from a"structural" issue like Spinal stenosis or hip-knee arthritis. So THAT pain they do NOT treat.Nope, Stimulator won't stop THAT Pain and they don't medicate for it leaving you in pain limbo. There I was in pain with no relief and kicked to the curb because I said NO and this telephone visit is where I caught them in a lie. And, because you are THEIR patient, no other doc will write a pain med script. Limbo just keeps on growing regardless if had followed every signed agreement for years. Changing pain clinics in getting an appointment takes time so pain is your constant companion, but do it.Don't go to Nura!Review 8/10/22 2 step pain relief?1. Injection 2. Spinal Cord Stimulator Nothing in-between BIG PUSH ON THE STIMULATOR. It's all that they talked about. I declined. I was called a drug seeker and and an addict.(had opioids in hospital and rehab after falling resulting in pain and weakness and was not able to walk).More insisting I need to get SCS placed in my back. Say no to device? You are no longer welcome at Nura. You are terminated. Since then, I have spoken with more than a few others with the same experience. This is NOT a pain clinic. It is a business to sell Spinal Cord Stimulators. Probably why the constant barrage of commercials. Never have I felt so demeand and uncomfortable in any medical facilities in my entire life! Nura? RUN!

Thank you for reaching out. We appreciate and value your input. Nura is a multidisciplinary interventional pain clinicmeaning we strive to find safer and more effective pain management alternatives beyond oral medication. Any person that is prescribed medication at our clinic is also required to participate in physical therapy, behavioral health services, and interventional procedures. It is our team's goal to help people living with chronic pain find relief and we will never recommend procedures if they would not benefit someone clinically. While we are unable to disclose the details of your appointment history, we take your feedback very seriously and our team has been very responsive to your concerns regarding your plan of care. We understand that our clinic might not be right for everyone and wish you the best on your journey to finding relief.
