We bought a 2020 Winnebago Voyage pull behind that we thought was a good trailer. However, 3 years later, we discovered we had water damage due to the refrigerator water drain hose that was never installed. Winnebago refused to answer our questions as to why it was not installed, blaming it on a screen that was installed after the trailer was bought. The water drain hose was discovered laying under the refrigerator (not installed) after we discovered water damage. Water damage occurs over time and it could take 1 year or even 10 years to discover. The fact is is that the hose was never installed causing us over $5000 in damages. the water damage caused the slide out to not properly extend and retract. We thought the slide out problem was a motor issue. We had no idea we had to inspect the trailer completely to ensure that Winnebago did their job properly and completely. When we first contacted Winnebago they were hard to communicate with. they said they sent requests to us which we never received and they never responded in a timely manner. We specifically asked them about the installation of the hose and would never address it being hidden under the refrigerator. We bought the trailer thinking Winnebago was a reputable company, however our experience was the pits. They never made any attempt to work with us to resolve the issue, cutting us off quickly with the "issue being resolved". I wish I would have read the reviews prior to the purchase as there is a review exactly the same as our issue.Review from Richard F

Hello, I purchased a 2021 Winnebago spider fifth wheel.I Regret buying this product it is very substandard. Warranty issues with landing jacks. The welds for the brackets that hold the landing jacks were separating from the frame causing the landing jacks to malfunction. I filed a complaint stating it was a structural warranty defect due to poor welds on the frame. Winnebago denied the claim and told me I needed to take it to one of their certified authorized factory dealers for repair. I Took it to camping world as recommended by Winnebago. They claim camping world is the Winnebago service dealer here in *********. ** regretted having to go there from the moment they told me to as I knew that would be going into a rabbit hole for a small repair. I Took it in on November 16. It is still at camping world waiting on a replacement of one landing ***** Winnebago refuses to acknowledge that their welds were a structural defect from the factory as pointed out by the technicians. Winnebago, then, according to camping world manager, *************************** in ********* claims that they sent the wrong part. He assured me they would expedite a new part and get this taken care of asap . Now two weeks later still no new part and still no RV to go camping in. And the bank received three months of payments that I made in good faith believing I would have a quality product . Winnebago makes a substandard product does and not care about their customers. They claim to be a leader in the industry, but as with their claim they cannot support it nor standby their product. The owner the president and CEO should be very embarrassed and ashamed that they represent this product. It is Unfortunate That Winnebago takes advantage of so many people year after year providing a poor product for a high-end price.Review from Elaine G

We bought a Winnebago from LazyDays in ************ **. We have been waiting for an answer or refund for the warranty work that we had to repair while on our first trip When I call the Winnebago customer service line, I am told that we would receive a check soon or a call back, that has not happened. Please help us get this resolved. We were camping on March 15th with our NEW Winnebago Voyager 2427RB, FIRST trip. When hooking up the water from the water source to the camper. Water poured out the water tank. Water tank was busted due to a metal s**** placed through the water heater tank from the factory. We supplied pictures with the claim. Which also tells ** ****** had not been water tested before leaving the dealership. We called Lazy Days and asked for a service truck to come to our camping site since we had already paid for four days non refundable. Lazy Days in ************ said sorry we don't have a service truck. Lazy Days said they could not look at it till April 4th but we could call Winnebago direct at which time the Winnebago customer service rep said call ********* and it is under warranty. We called ********* on Wednesday March 15th and were told they would find ** a repair service. One hour later an independent service called and would be on site next day Thursday March 16th. The independent tech got up early Friday morning and drove to ********** and picked up a replacement water heater. He arrived on site around 10 am on Friday March 17th. The independent tech replaced the water heater and when we turned the water on we had several leaks. We fixed the water leaks in the bathroom. But the furnace was not working till we got home I was able to dry the electrical board on the furnace with a hair dryer.I have called several times and spoke to customer service, last three times over a month ago customer service rep say check is in the accounting department. It is now June 13 and still no reimbursement as promised.Review from Lila V

Bought a 2021 Winnegago 5th wheel in 2020. Nothing but problems. The most recent was a $9000 rotted floor repair that Winnebago says is not their fault. The dealer and the tech who fixed the issue said it had to be poor workmanship from the factory. This was just the icing on the cake. We had problems right off of the showroom floor the week we picked the unit up. So embarassed to won a Winnebago. Never again.Review from Reggie P

Winnebago has ignored an ongoing dangerous safety issue with the TRAVATO series Carefree Awning self-deploying for over two years now. The awnings are subject to rapid uncontrolled self-deployment without warning while driving at highway speeds. I worked with Carefree and they say Winnebago is wiring them wrong. Winnebago refuses to take responsibility for the issue.
