We signed a contract with them, to remove and replace an existing deck and remove old decking on lower deck and replace with composite, on Aug. 2, 2023. They started the work on Oct. 4, 2023. We paid them $26,348.65 for the project, holding back $516.22 because the facia on the steps had not been finished and all of the facia boards needed to be painted. They said they would come back in the spring/summer of 2024 to finish the remaining projects. We contacted them June 3 with no response. Then again on June 12 when he said he was going to get the project going again. Then we contacted him on July 8, with no response and also July 17, with no response. We just want the project completed and he has completely ghosted us.

I am the office manager for Legacy Contracting, Inc. and as of 9/3/2024 I have made contact with **** and ***** in regard to this claim via email.  Legacy Contracting, Inc. will be at the ******* home tomorrow to start to work towards finishing the portion of the project that was incomplete.  As of right now, I don't know exactly how much time it will take to completely finish but will know more once they get started tomorrow.

Legacy Contracting, **** does its very best to continue open communication with our customers throughout a project, but occasionally (like in this case), because I am not part of the scheduling or work being performed, my email is not added to that communication.  Unfortunately, If I am not contacted or included, I cannot be helpful to resolve an issue.  We can assure that we had every intention to finish the project as originally promised, but it fell through a crack and was unfortunately, then, consistently missed.  We appreciate that we have had this opportunity to correct the situation.  We hope that the customer is satisfied with the work when we are done and will accept our sincere apologies for the delay.  The customer will also not be charged the final $516 that was held.

We contracted to have windows and a sliding door installed. They were eventually installed but the door hardware was the incorrect color. We ordered bright brass and white was installed. We paid 10257 of 10757 total pending the installation of the correct hardware. The doors were installed in March and all of my communication with company has been ignored / not responded to. I just want the correct hardware installed.

When ********************* received the initial complaint, he contacted ******* Windows to inquire about the door handle because we still had not received it.  ******* sent it out and **** received it last week.  We will be connecting with ****** directly to set up a time for one of our people to come to swap the handle out.

We appreciate the patience of all of our Window customers over the past two years while ******* Windows (our supplier) has been going through the long term supply chain and employee retention issues that resulted from COVID.  Things are definitely getting better.
