    With the merger from Hiway to Blaze, the customer service and the correct information is not being given out. Called today to cancel the gap because the car was sold. July 2024 we refinanced and bought gap. On their recorded line, the representative asked if we wanted gap, i asked if it worked like other gaps and if we also get our money back when we cancel. The specialist replied that it works just like all other gaps. Today i call because the car has been sold and they advised me that according to the contract i signed, gap cant be cancelled after 60 days of the contract. So know that if you buy their scam of a gap insurance, they will still cover the loan amount even after you sell the car. Shady business dealing.

    With the merger of Spire to Blaze, customer service has been absolutely terrible. I have literally spent 5 hour on the phone a total of 3 times and have gone into a branch office and still cannot get access to my credit card statement. I wish I could understand the person I am speaking to as they do not have english as a first language. Absolutely terrible. Had been a customer of Spire for over 8 years and felt good about the customer service. NOT ANY LONGER. I am leaving too much frustration!

    Blaze payment processing system is seriously flawed, payments lost in the "mail" as they now mail physical checks instead of electronic payments.

    I recently attempted to open a business account at Blaze Credit Union, and my experience has been nothing short of frustrating. After meeting with ****** ********* on November 14th, I was assured that the process was simple and that the only remaining step was to register my assumed business name and send the document to him. I filed the document within 15 minutes of leaving and promptly emailed it to the address on his business card. What followed was complete radio silence. Despite leaving multiple voicemails (on November 25th and December 3rd) and calling the Member Experience Center, I did not receive any acknowledgment or follow-up from Mr. *********. When the Member Experience team finally reached him today, I was told he claimed to have called me -- yet I received no missed calls, voicemails, or email responses. This level of negligence and disregard for a potential customer's time is unacceptable. Opening a simple bank account as a sole proprietor should not be this difficult. The lack of communication and follow-through suggests a deeper issue with customer service at this branch, which is further reflected in the numerous negative reviews it has received over the past year. I'm extremely disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for Blaze Credit Union to reevaluate their practices and prioritize customer satisfaction.

    The new system is holding my funds, losing my funds, not counting properly, overcharging overdrafts etc. this institution has declined since the merger and if the new system isn’t switched back or fixed, I will be closing my accounts indefinitely. Something is shady with this bank since the merger and as a customer, your funds are not safe here.

    Wish there was a zero rating. I have been a member of Spire for over 10 years. Ever since they switched to Blaze I have had constant problems with logging in online. All of my settings and contact info is correct, yet when they ask to verify my account with a phone call with the verification number, I NEVER receive a call. When I contact them via their contact us page, I dont get a reply. When I call, I end up on hold for so long I finally have to just hang up. I live in the north woods of MN. There is not a branch that I can drive to in under 2 hours. The online help page is useless. Only stating that my phone company or internet is the problem. IT IS BLAZE's PROBLEM. I shouldnt have to spend so many hours and stress just trying to see my accounts and money. I recommended Spire for years. NO MORE. :( Do not put your money here.

    They sent out a letter to everyone with our names, routing AND account numbers on them. SO if you never received that, just know that Blaze sent your personal banking information in the mail and someone maybe intercepted it. This merger destroyed something that worked so well. Disgusted with this place and leaving asap.

    Don't make a mistake... They will treat you like a red-headed step child. Customer service will throw you in an endless hold loop while you're spinning your wheels and going no where. Blaze Credit Union had destroyed Hiway! Worst Credit Union. Will not recommend them. I'm gonna take out another loan to pay this crappy bank off of what I owe and join CashApp, Dave our chime. Have had far better experiences with them than Blaze

    Miss the highway credit union .this credit union sucks. Left phone number for someone to call back . Hours later .still no call !!!! Had to go there last time !!!!

    Merger was no good...Bill Pay is not reliable..Lost my Auto Payment and now a credit card payment is lost as well a week later..Hard to connect with anybody who knows what to do..Local Office has nobody able to help long wait times for corporate office when calling..
