    I currently have several (at least 2) windows that do not close unless they are pushed from the outside. I also have not received any warranty information after requesting it after several attempts. All I want are functioning windows...this has been incredibly frustrating!Full details below:Bought 6/8/21- 12 to 14 weeks Week of 9/27 - *************** arriving 10/14, install 10/25 Email to **** - week of 10/25, respond with timeline issues will call me (nothing)Email to ****- week of 12/6 (no response)Phoned *************** in next week **** to pick up stain **** picked up stain 12/15, said he would call next week (nothing)1/10/22 - ******************* backorder, TBD 3/17 - windows are in, scheduled install 3/25- ************* installed, basement window 1/2 inch open (will not close) follow up to schedule technician 3/28 - phoned ****** will get **** from SME to come out & take a look, will call back with time. **** came out after 3. Needs a part but he explained & helped me duct tape it so no rain/ice would get in. ****** will call for manufacture warranty work. Within an hour email received from Hayfield for warranty request.4/1 - ******** sent part, **** installed 4/11 - Paid **** remainder, no discounts. Was told ?? would send me warranty information. Never received .6/13 - spoke with ************* email about gap above 3 panel window. Mentioned some windows dont close on first try. Told to call if it gets worse.2/9/23: Left **** message about warranty - No response

    I followed up with ***** (customer) in regards to her complaint.  It appears that the warranty claim (2 windows not closing properly) with the manufacturer is still not resolved.  I let her know that I would prioritize this and  work with manufacturer to get resolution ASAP.  I advised customer that the window warranty info is available online and also provided her my direct phone #.

     I am rejecting this response because:
    While I accept and acknowledge that the company has responded to my request and filed the warranty claim with the manufacturer for resolution, I would like to keep the matter open for an additional period until it can be confirmed that the issue is resolved.
    At this point we don't know if it is a issue with the manufacturer or an installation issue.  If it is the later, further action may need to be taken by SMA Exteriors.
