I inquired with this business back in February of this year. I had my initial call with Anne on March 1, 2024. I had told her over the phone, left a voicemail and a follow up email on 3/4 requesting her to hold off on providing any further services and eventually ended up canceling because I found someone else to do my taxes. I never heard a word back from the company after that. Flash forward to 10/16/24, they insert a return in my portal, and ask for my authorization to file 10/18, when taxes are due in April and mine were filed by someone else in March. On 10/18 they withdrew $575 from my bank account. For almost two weeks now, I have been requesting a call from Mark, the CEO of this company and was even told in writing he would call me back. I have yet to receive a call back from anyone in the company regarding this situation. I don’t understand how you can charge someone such a large fee for a service they didn’t receive 8 months after the fact. I have two children to provide for, and this money was taken from my family and Mark knows that. Communication has been poor from this company and I don’t wish this situation on anyone. That is someone’s grocery and bill money. Do better.

We value all feedback and are committed to ensuring our clients have a positive experience with our services.Upon reviewing this complaint, we found several discrepancies in the facts presented by the client. According to our records, we received the cancellation request after the services had already been provided. Our terms and conditions stipulate that a full refund is available if a cancellation request is received before any services commence. However, once services have begun, a service fee is applicable. This policy is in place to ensure clarity and fairness for both parties, recognizing the resources and time committed to providing our services.We are genuinely committed to resolving this issue. However, the tone and threats from the client have made communication challenging. In good faith, we agree to provide the client with a full refund, contingent upon the client's execution of a release of all claims for damages arising from their conduct.Review from Brad F

This year my wife and I sold my former house and got married. I'm clergy, she's a physician; we both have relatively complicated taxes, and combining them made it even more complicated. I'd previously done my own taxes, but, with the combination, it was great to have someone else--who knows what they're doing--handle the tax preparation.Clergy Financial Resources Response
